Once a Kool-Aide sipping sheep…. always a sheep.  Fully vaxxed ham friend here also has a home in Yap, Micronesia with a lot of adopted kids he helps out. He is the country’s school technology man and installed shortwave radios at the schools on the far flung islands of Micronesia.  He was trapped here in Hawaii during the pandemic when FSM closed the borders.  The islands were good for almost two years.   Then a large funeral for a priest there attracted boatloads of locals.   Supposedly no foreign entry, but the crowd became the source of their covid outbreak.  The borders have opened and now they are trying to get enough Paxlovid for the population.  Vaxx status unknown, but I suspect quite low.

My friend arrived to his adopted home to find one person sick.  Then the whole house… him included.   He sounded awful on the shortwave radio last night.   I told him this would happen before he left, but… “It’s all right.  I’m vaccinated!”    Not working out real well right now.   I tried to mention Ivermectin to him, but he wouldn’t listen.   Knows it all…. from the propaganda.

You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink.  If people were stupid enough to accept the ‘experiment’ without reading the fine print, they will not backtrack and admit the mistake now.   Line up for another booster shot, sheep!

We grow lots here.  Melons are an expensive luxury in Japan.  I saw a cantaloupe there offered for $300.   I saw Japanese tourists in our big grocery store come upon two large tubs of watermelons.  They looked at the price and calculated it to something familiar.  Great exclamations later, upon finding them dirt cheap, they were filling two shopping carts with watermelons!  They must have thought they could take them back to Japan with them.  Unfortunately, Japan will not let them in.   I hope they enjoyed some watermelon on the beach for a day or two, though.

I though I had a steady low BP and high tolerance against getting nauseated. But after reading all this it’s been quite challenging. And we’re only 2 yrs along.
About the virus, you’d be surprised how many are still willing to line up and drink the Kool Aid. I can understand why seniors would take it initially after the psych ops scare tactics they used, preventing the medicine and treatments giving them no other choice and wound up making them more susceptible if it didn’t kill them. But the rest I give up, why waist your time. Knock themselves out.

Hard to think with temporary chaos here, okay quieter now, but I agree but would add I don’t think they know what their doing sometimes or care. Can they be that depraved to just hoard and spend that money on themselves and expect the rest of us to pay for it?
Or should I bother to ask. They’re hiring 86K IRS workers. How many billionaires are there in the US? A 1000-2000? minus 86 K What about the other 84K? Who are they going to bother? Fixing the gold price. Aren’t banks already fixing the prices? What about calls for delivery in gold back stable coin? Seems like we’ve been down that road before.
Will physical be used as currency or is it another digital price fixing?
Places like the people of India understands the value of gold better than the average person in the US. But even then I remember something not too long ago they froze their gold buying even though it’s customary for weddings.
Price valuation is one thing but price fixing? They’re already price fixing here anyways.

These folks would then fix precious metals prices to national currencies from member countries or to a new monetary unit for international trade, such as the newly proposed BRICS currency.

Indian Prime Minister Modi’s objective with this exchange is to “empower India to gain its rightful place in the global bullion market and serve the global value chain with integrity and quality”. As the world’s second-largest market for gold, India has much to gain from this development.

PM Modi also believes that the IIBX will also allow India to influence the international bullion market’s prices and become competitive with COMEX and LBMA.

The IIBX has also launched a new initiative called the NSE IFSC-SGX Connect, which will process all Nifty orders placed on the Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX).
