That poor Italian actually got his hands durty sometimes while American Politicians dont even have to get their hands durty ….

The Fed is deliberately stealing from savers

Posted by eeos @ 13:13 on October 22, 2014

The academic name for the Fed’s current policy is financial repression. But a more apt name would be “Throw granny under the bus,” because the program boils down to taking from savers and fixed-income recipients and transferring that purchasing power to other entities.

The cornerstone element of financial repression is negative real interest rates, of which the Federal Reserve is the prime architect and owner.

From the start of the Fed’s post-crisis intervention through 2013, the total cost of these negative real interest rates was over $750 billion just to savers alone. The loss of income to fixed-income investments (such as bonds held in pensions and money markets) was even larger. read more

For Campers

This is pretty cool. It powers appliances with a heat source. Don’t know exactly how much heat is needed but in summer things like hot rocks or solar water bags or metal come to mind if too hot for fire but probably need more than that.

Found it at nitropak

The PowerPotÂŽ Charging Bundle is everything you need to keep charging in any situation! It ships with the famous PowerPot V, which is a robust, lightweight generator that magically transforms heat into electricity! It also includes our lightweight stove, which fits securely inside the PowerPot, so you can always have a heat source at the ready. To use this package, just add water to the PowerPot and place it over the heat source of your choice. The PowerPot will immediately start powering up your USB devices. This bundle comes with all the goods, including the standard USB (5V) port, making it compatible with devices you already have. The cable is heat-rated up to 300 Celsius. The solid-state voltage regulator provides up to 5W of power to charge your high-tech devices.

The PowerPotÂŽ gives you the power to charge your electronics anytime, in any situation. Use it in the backcountry or at home during a power outage. I would rather own something the Gubberment struggles to hold down, than something the Gubberment needs to prop up with artificial means because any effort of this sort will eventually meet with a mistake  just as every murderer leaves a clue ! Time is on my side and every lie needs a thousand more to cover up a failing policy while all I need to do is stay out of debt and nothing more to win with Time on my side.

Its sort of like Putin waiting for the Russian Winter to shut up the Talking Heads and make  his point !

Kyle Bass=$ index to 120

Posted by Richard640 @ 12:17 on October 22, 2014

Kyle Bass is very gold friendly. He was on CNBC today and said he expects the $ index to go to 120 within 12 months. He was not asked nor did he mention what that would mean for gold….but if that happened, we might have to consider the lunatic projections of gold going to $680-$700 a possibility–personally, I don’t agree with his $ call or $700 gold….

Trends In Silver Demand By The Solar Photovoltaic Industry

Silver has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of all metals. This property of silver makes it an important constituent of solar cells. It is used in the form of silver paste, which is used to conduct electricity out of solar cells. Approximately 20 grams of silver are used in each crystalline silicon solar panel, which accounts for around 85% of the total market. Roughly 80 metric tons of silver or approximately 2.8 million ounces of silver areneeded to generate approximately 1 Gigawatt of solar power.

Growth in Installed Solar PV Capacity

Globally, installed solar capacity stood at 139 GW at the end of 2013. Installed solar capacity has risen exponentially from a paltry 1.3 GW in 2000. Most of this growth in installed capacity in the past has come from Europe, particularly Germany, with favorable government policies facilitating the incorporation of a greater share of renewable energy into the country’s energy mix. Europe accounted for around 75% of global installed solar PV capacity in 2010. However, the pace of new installed capacity in Europe is expected slow down due to a reduction in incentives for PV installations in some major markets, such as Germany. read more

Incredible to me that someone with such poor reasoning can become a judge. How did that happen? It’s too hard to remove fools like that!

PS That reminds me of that case in I think Florida where someone was fined $thousands for having a vegetable garden in their front yard.

Not just judges are tainted but many prosecutors looking to be judges some day with criminal misgivings to others

Posted by goldielocks @ 11:41 on October 22, 2014

The AP reported I had stated from the outset Republic stole the money. You cannot get $1 billion out of a bank and nobody knows where it is. That kind of money can only be wired, yet they pretended to be looking for something Republic had all the time. When Republic finally pleads guilty, they got no jail time in return for all the missing money.

Now, in California, some prosecutors have resigned because Eric Holder’s boys were fabricating evidence in order to confiscate property in the tens of millions of dollars. One former prosecutor Eric Overby stated: “It’s called the Department of Justice. It’s not called the Department of Revenue.” Overby has stated that in his entire career, “I’ve never seen anything like this. Never.” The entire court has had to step aside because all judges are tainted. Just amazing.

We are screwed as a nation without a legal system that is reliable. How can we have a ruling against the NSA or anything sensitive when judges are not really judges? You just cannot appoint career prosecutors as judges and no one should be there for life.

ipso speaking of under arrest

Posted by eeos @ 11:18 on October 22, 2014

Did you read that ZH article about the Tennessee woman who’s going to jail for not mowing her lawn? It’s time to start publicly hanging judges. The tax extortion system is completely bonkers. Makes me want to set things straight myself.  Minimal this judge should be cained as an example to others. Judges need to be held accountable, at least give this judge a few months in jail please.  Mowing grass is stupid in the first place.

Could be a big deal!

Belarus Wants to Criminalize Unemployment With Forced Labor As Punishment

Taking an old-school approach to battle the woes of modern capitalism, Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko has endorsed a legislative ban on unemployment, Interfax reported Monday.

“You want to bring back [the phrase] ‘social parasitism,’ do it. That would be easier for the people to understand,” Lukashenko was cited as saying at a governmental meeting on employment.

His comments were made during a discussion of the Belarussian police’s proposal to punish people who “intentionally don’t work,” including by imposing forced labor.

“We need to make these people work using any means we know and can handle,” the Belarussian strongman was cited as saying.
