Gold nuggets stolen from Wells Fargo museum worth $10,000
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Thieves in a stolen SUV smashed through the glass doors of the Wells Fargo History Museum in downtown San Francisco before dawn Tuesday and made off with up to 10 ounces of historic gold nuggets worth roughly $10,000, police said.
But rare coin dealer Don Kagin says the robbers may have difficulty selling the nuggets unless they melt them down. Word of the heist was spreading through the rare coin community, Kagin said, and dealers will be on the lookout for nuggets and coins with historical significance that suddenly appear on the market.
The three masked thieves held a security guard at gunpoint, took 4 to 10 ounces of gold from an exhibit case and got away in a waiting sedan, police said. The guard wasn’t injured.
Robbers in Northern California have targeted precious metals in museum displays before and the tactics of the heist have marked other recent robberies in the area.
Fred Holabird, a mining geologist and an owner of a rare and unique collectibles business in Reno, Nevada, called the theft a tragedy because the nuggets could be marked with the year and place where they were mined and even the miner who unearthed them.
“This is such bad news from my viewpoint,” he said. read more

Guess that will be when people realize they are being oppressed not just here but globally by Glorified political and police welfare recipients. It doesn’t matter what race or religion, their idea of equality is equal slavery and taxation to all and they are the welfare masters. At some point the US who only see their own jobs and wages go down will wake up to this global slave equality scam as the rest of the world already has. Obummer is destroying the world from the inside out while supporting his terrorist friends that even suppress and kill conservative Muslims. He has and is alienating allies and making enemies. Not the first but so far the worst. As more hatred and resentment arises from their malicious arrogance it will mostly result in war as it usually does. Eventually more and more will blame them, and their banks, multinational buddies and guess what? Obama will make sure there not too many left standing with us ah but against us.

The forecasted storm track wandered some 80 miles to the east, sparing NJ and much of Conn. Eastern LI recorded 50 mph winds and parts of Mass. some 80 mph winds. With those kind of winds combined with multi feet of snow we have a Blizzard…a complete whiteout. Chains and tire studs are of little help if you can’t see the roadway. Drifts can easily go 20 or 30 feet high. So, we lucked out on what could have been a monster blizzard. Be thankful.
PS, Was there ever a generation that didn’t say that they had it harder?

son that’s a good Gold Price – Monthly Chart, it reminds me of the run up of the 70’s to 80 ( 1/2 way move)
This 2000 to 2015 (1/2 move) lasted 50% long, therefore I anticipate it will last to 2030 w/ PO of $8625

I live in Virginia now….We got about 3 in snow today ..no big deal..We did have one big snow about 15 years ago and everything stopped ..I walked to work 9 miles in about 10 inches of snow….Some Employees that lived two doors down from my retail food establishment called in because they couldent” get out” .When they heard I walked 9 miles ..they were dumb founded ..couldent believe it …He must have slept in the store overnight they said…..I could see they had a different mentality …than I….They never knew what it was to “rise to the occasion” as people did born in my era …..

My sentiments exactly ..a bunch of wusses ..I lived in Elizabeth and remember the blizzard of “47” 24 inches snow and everybody walked ….
No school busses either ….The press was more serious because of WW2 ,didnt need to exagerate anything ..it was all real enough.
Snow even at 24 inches was in inconvience compared to what we had been through “40-45” with food rationed, gasoline rationed,no central heating,no air cond,no super markets,no automatic transmissions…… WE were happy it was over ..Whats a little 24 in snow compared to fighting in France, temp 20, freezing solders getting shot at coldest winters Europe ever had in the “40’s during a WAR…frost bite, dying,
24 in snow was just an inconvience…..

Once you realize that you are living in a glorified Third World country, ruled by an Idi Amin kind of madman (actually Kenyan born), operating a global reach Pol Pot kind of killing fields regime, and who is told what to do by your Zionist Wall Street banksters, as well as all black ops being organized and funded by your drug running Langley gang, then you will quickly find out, all by yourself, what fascism is really all about, and that you beautiful country is royally screwed beyond repair. Forgive me for having overlooked mention of some aspects. I am sure you are able to fill the void. Be safe, have faith, buy physical precious metal if you choose not to be a victim of their colossal game. If push comes to shove, you only have two friends you can rely on. Their names are Smith & Wesson (357 Magnum) and Mossberg (pump action shot gun).” ~ Mr Reality Bites (from overseas contact with numerous connection, a clear view of the world, and very little tolerance for ongoing abuses, expressed with an edge)

One sex likes guns, and hunting, some go sky diving, commercial fishing way out at sea, some go into Boxing, some go to battle in war, some play Football.
The other sex does none of those things, they have a lot of power and influence over male representatives. They think men are barbarians and need to be tamed, re-made to be more like them. And they have SUCCEEDED. There are way too many girly men out there.
I just might start a new “PUSSY PERSPECTIVE” series to make men more aware of what has been going on.

Not only did they close airports, bans vehicles from all NYC streets, but last night they announced people would be banned from sidewalks today! It’s not about safety, people, or snow—-it’s all about pols keeping doo-doo off their weakling shirts.
On Monday, before plows or salters went out the Parks dept had five guys walking along the Bicycle Lane here sprinkling salt by hand onto the lane in case any progressives decided to ride their bikes in the expected 30 inches of snow.
Got about 8-10″ here, but wind patterns kept my car clear, and I’ll be able to drive it out of the parking spot without shovelling.

“Shadow Of The Crisis Has Not Passed”: Durables Goods Orders Collapse
Tyler Durden’s pictureSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 01/27/2015 08:38 -0500
Following November’s across the board ugliness in Durable Goods data, the hockey-stick extrapolators all positioned for the bounce back… Only 1 of 57 economists expected a negative print! But the actual data was a total disaster. Against expectations of a 0.3% rise (following last month’s 0.7% drop), December printed down 3.4% and November was revised drasticaly lower to down 2.1%. This is the lowest durable goods ex-transports since March.
The breakdown:
Durables: -3.4%, Exp. +0.3%, Last revised from -0.7% to -2.1%
Durables ex transports: -0.8%, Exp. +0.6%, Last revised from -0.4% to -1.3%
Core Cap Goods Orders: -0.6, Exp. 0.9%, Last revised from 0.0% to -0.6%
Core Cap Goods Shipments: -0.2%, Exp. 1.0%, Last revised from 0.2% to -0.5%
