Lithium, the greens say oil is not infinite. Either is lithium.

Well if they weren’t a bunch of Hippocrates they could do something about it. It’s more than one in a million it’s happening a lot. Did you see those videos of waves of trash washing up on beaches think it was the Philippines? That load of trash mostly plastic apparently came from Canada.
You mentioned a place you go to a beach I think. Imagine seeing waves of trash coming in.
The wildlife may have more babies but that was made for nature not man made hazards that could be totally prevented.
Did you here there is so much plastic it’s breaking down in tiny particles fish eat getting into their body’s which other fish and “ people “ eat. So is it even safe to eat fish anymore?
How many species have gone extinct because of human indifference or plain ignorance like the Dodo birds because it it didn’t know to run away from them and became a convenient food source.
Sometimes they can’t like deforestation, if God gave us dominion over the animals he also gave us responsibility. He didn’t say go wipe them all out.

Keep in mind Mother Nature produces a lot of extra offspring because most of them don’t get to mature. I remember once seeing films of thousands of baby turtles hatching out of the sand and trying to get to the water before the sea birds catch them to eat. Same with many insects. Even many humans die and suffer from various things and accidents.

Those photos are like one in a million, hopefully not staged. As a shear guess, the people that make or promote those type photos want like minded people to join and or contribute money to a group or club. Its on TV too, they show photos of sick and skinny dogs to get donations. Even the NRA. They send letters about more and worse gun control coming to work on peoples emotions and want donations or new members.

Its good that you care about and have sympathy for sea life but nothing we can do to stop it, like mass shootings. Also just today I read they are deforesting huge areas to mine lithium for battery cars.

Do I care about pollution of our ecosystem? Yes I do, so much that it should be a crime and the people doing it should be fined and made to pay to clean up they dumped trash and care for any sea life injured.
We get at least half our air from the ocean so can it affect you? Other half from land while they continue deforestation now for palm oil they put in everything including kids supposedly healthy Nutella.
The factors that balance out things are being destroyed. These people are pigs while some of them preach green.

No oil shortage

@goldilocks, Hi, re pollution, Wherever There Is A Plus, You Have A Minus. And we can’t worry about everything.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 14:14 on June 8, 2022

I learned that while making things in factories. Ships are a plus for pleasure and shipping cargo. Gold is plus for jewelry, some industry, and savings. Energy and Oil is a triple plus very important, we need them for everything. Those are the pluses.

So we have to live with the minuses like alleged pollution. I never see any around me. So I don’t get concerned about it. Are you? Is pollution affecting your life?   The Ocean cleans itself. Some stuff sinks to the bottom. Some washes up on the beach. Where it can be picked up. The so called island of floating plastic in the middle of the ocean, is the mud room. Who cares?

A friend of mine spent half his like in the sky in a 747 cargo plane. He says the biggest problem are volcanoes. In that ring of fire area. They are constantly polluting.

The world is changing, in reverse. First news it was vitamins and supplements not really needed. Now todays paper study, less treatments needed for cancer. There are many others to come. Probably unneeded prescription pills for blood pressure and cholesterol. I’ll be watching. Observing. The world is changing for the better. Parts of the system are losing the ability to “get away with” unnecessary costly things.

I think eventually the system can’t afford trying to save the planet. Costly artificially supported EPA jobs. A shake out of wasted money and labor. Many artificially supported products and corporations will be gone. The system will probably go back to a 40 hour work week or 4 day work week, and one highly paid spouse working.

All I can do is lead you to it. I can’t make you watch it….but PLEASE DO. It exposes EVERYTHING! Even your new gods!

Hi Mr Copper

Posted by goldielocks @ 12:18 on June 8, 2022

Doesn’t energy stocks burn energy to produce amongst other sectors that may also pollute they never talk about. Ships dumping waste and trash in the ocean. Gold miners of past using mercury that still polluted the waters fish and people rely on. Water used by the Chinese that are drilling in Australia while a drought going on and wild life suffering,

Yes it did go to 60k past my target and also sooner than thought after the 20 k resistant area. Just watching.
Futures started in 2017 so it had no power to keep it down.

Also little tyrant posers like Trudeau who hid from the people actually thinks he can freeze people bank accounts couldn’t get his greedy hands on it although he tried.
Futures seem to be only focused on making a buck off of it which isn’t the only reason people buy it globally. I’m sure during the rise people sold it for cash or tangibles. You could even buy Telsa cars with it but guess he stopped trading Bitcoin for cars now, They buy it for a safe haven of their own currency and don’t have to worry about air port checks as well as what you might want to own if they ever get away with eliminating cash for a power play. That would take energy too vs cash wouldn’t it? Let’s hope that never happens anyways.

@goldilocks, Re Crypto Already On Futures?

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:52 on June 8, 2022

I forgot about that. I really don’t know much about them, other than they burn a lot of electricity to produce. And if they already on futures that would explain the lower values, no? Didn’t bitcoin go the $60,000?

California voters oust reformist DA in San Francisco as House battlegrounds take shape

WASHINGTON — San Francisco voters fired their headline-grabbing reformist district attorney Tuesday, NBC News projects, after rising crime rates proved intolerable even for the famously progressive city.

Chesa Boudin, the son of left-wing radicals who was elected on a Black Lives Matter-aligned platform to reform the criminal justice system, faced a successful recall effort as voters grew frustrated with the perception that his office is not willing to do much about crime.

The outcome and its lopsided margin was a rebuke of the left as Democrats retreat from calls to “defund the police” in the face of polls nationally showing growing concern about public safety, especially from people of color.
