Bitcoin is already trading in the futures market. They can’t manipulate it like gold because they can’t hold it in pretend physical bars they sold or borrowed. It’s gotten big and has many off shoots as well as failed attempts in some people have to be careful not to fall into those traps. You can even make money holding it like a bank by lending making you independent of fiat or attempts to go all digital to monitor and control your money although there is risks. Since Bitcoin futures which sounded ridiculous to do since its private and independent of a country control which makes it a safe haven came into futures in 2017 so had little impact on its movement into the last high of 60 thousand.

Biden admin has really screwed the pooch on the energy front! Can it be anything but a deliberate attempt to bring down the economy. Our country is sorely in need of leadership!

The Futures market imo, is gov’t/bank manipulated, and causes unstable crazy highs and lows. So when prices get high producers get tricked and over produce and prices fall. Many producers like XOM may not be falling or responding to or increasing production because of higher prices. Energy producers also feel like they are being discriminated against by the gov’t/media.

I once heard the CEO of FCX re high Copper prices, say something like, in my words.  “We are not going to get tricked and chase or respond to the higher Copper prices, that crash later after we invested”.

I remember when Uranium was in a free natural bull market. After they put it on the futures market, the prices went lower and subdued. I hear they are talking about putting cryptos on the futures markets next. So we can figure they will get subdued too.

Basically TPTB (and other groups or sectors) are losing the ability to get away with things they used to get away with or benefit from. Its a whole new slow motion glacier type global reversal shift going on since 9/11 the summer ’08 crisis. That shift or reversal also produced a new and improved different America first type president called Donald Trump.

Then came tardy late reports of Covid that I suspect was “allowed” to infect the whole planet. For what? Get rid of Trump and or create an economic shift, shock reset or reversal of the past? That already started. And they wanted to get it over with fast?

Turkey has repeatedly invaded northern Syria and northern Iraq to have a run at Kurdish factions, declaring them “terrorists” in both. The operations in Syria aim at the SDF’s parent organization, the YPG.

Id ask what futures look like but that could change once we open. Just hope any leg down now or soon in stocks won’t affect PMs too much. Oil stocks “ may “ depending on numbskull in office” be over bought pretty soon too. I think I may get into some early before their earnings though less I see they’re already priced in.
I’m probably going to be watching natural gas and heating stocks this later summer for winter to hedge utility bills,

every friggin’ day.
