You mean the things they might add to it? Learning to eat less meat anyways maybe that will help although raised around farms like you here and there. Now they do that in real life to baby chickens. Things barley hatch come out all happy and cute in these horrible industrial farms and through thousands of baby male chicks in a meat grinder with their little wings spread trying to fly out. That or they pour them into a large trash can and fill it to the top and cover it and leave them to be crushed or suffocate to death. I’m guessing the first is used for dog food or something. Why they allow this to happen God only knows but then we’re dealing with people of questionable conscious.

Oil Dinosaurs Face Extinction: State Oil Companies And The Meteor-Strike Of Low Oil Prices

Tyler Durden’s pictureSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 01/23/2015 17:45 -0500

Submitted by Charles Hugh-Smith of OfTwoMinds blog,

State-owned oil companies that don’t slash expenses to align with revenues and boost critical investment in the infrastructure needed to maintain production will suffer financial extinction.

Domestic and international energy companies are responding to the 50% decline in the price of oil by doing what’s necessary to remain in business: they’re slashing payroll, postponing capital investments, delaying new projects and soliciting price cuts from suppliers and subcontractors.

This is the discipline of profit-driven capitalism: if expenses exceed revenues, profits vanish, losses pile up, capital contracts and eventually the company runs out of cash (and access to credit) and closes down.

Unfortunately for state-owned oil companies, the feedback of expenses, losses and access to credit are superceded by the need to feed hordes of parasites: the state-owned company exists not to generate profits but to fund large payrolls and support state officials and cronies.

Stripped of the discipline of markets and profits, state-oil companies exist to serve the interests of the state’s Elites and their cronies and favored constituents. As a result, critical infrastructure has fallen into obsolescence, capital investments have been hollowed out and the expertise needed to maintain production has eroded.

The state-owned oil companies are like dinosaurs: the extinction meteor of low oil prices has smashed their ecosystem, and all they can do is watch the sky darken as revenues crater and expenses and debt remain at unsustainably high levels.

Two food maxims I learned.  Being of German American heritage, my dad knew where all the best German butcher shops were in the state… with special sausages.  I learned early on:

“You never want to watch sausage being made, if you eat it.”

Also, learned from my years in Hawaii,

“Never look in the kitchen of a Chinese Restaurant”.

I bet those people will never eat sausage again.

Then you can write them too. Something like this. They just pass things and don’t read it, it would be a perfect time to implement no deductibles and large refunds.
If they later do read it they don’t want to lose votes so they won’t try to change it.

Do you like sausages?

Dear Mr It, PS Infact the Gov is very generous, ask the bankers. but the bankers didn’t keep their promise to circulate it to the economy. Now if you can see it to divide that amount of money to us we can assure you we will circulate it amongst the economy and not just give it to those bank people who will just keep it.

you know you live in a screwed up country when you fly flags at half mast for trash like him. Here he represented a entire country where it’s illegal to be a christian, a real open mind and a thinker right? and then you have the royal family who gladly flies flags half mast in his honor, but they weren’t even sure if they should fly a flag at half mast for Princess Diana after her death. A screwed up world

Robbers target food delivery trucks in shortage-hit Venezuela

(Reuters) – Robbers and looters are targeting trucks carrying food across Venezuela in another sign of worsening shortages that have turned basics like flour and chicken into coveted booty.

Crime has long plagued shops and roads in Venezuela, which has one of the world’s highest murder rates.

But widespread shortages due to a restriction of dollars for imports have worsened since the New Year.

This has made food delivery increasingly risky even as certain trucks have been fitted with GPS devices and are sometimes protected by private security agents.

“I won’t transport food anymore because the streets are too dangerous,” said Orlando Garcia, a 37-year-old driver from the western state of Tachira who has been ambushed twice as he crisscrossed the country.

“They put screws on the road (to burst your tires), and when you stop to fix the tire they attack you,” said Garcia, who now refuses to work past midnight and will only transport plastics.

Greek exit may or may not affect gold but will push on dollar up and Euro down for awhile despite Euro monitoring now. Looks like they could go into a death cycle and other countries may then come into play. Just IMHO ps good to keep close watch.

Re This One Part:
“the untenable situation with Social Security and other burdensome entitlements”

Comment:
Are ALL the financial writers deaf dumb and blind. Or do they just repeat what they learned from the propaganda press?? A more accurate statement would read like…

“The untenable situation with highly paid gov’t employees, highly paid gov’t vendors, extremely early retirements some after 20 years, and all of their very generous fringe benefits including Cadillac medical insurance costs including spouses, after retirement until death and other burdensome entitlements”

We have small businesses all around here closing up, killing jobs and occupations, because rents are too high, and costs can’t be passed off to customers, wages in private sector too low.

All because property taxes are too high.

Part of Scruffy @ 9:10

plague of cholera, which took off tens and hundreds of thousands of Europeans in sudden, unexplained outbreaks in its populous cities. A city-dweller might leave his neighborhood for a weekend in the country, and return to find that 10% of his neighbors were being carted off in boxes to the graveyard.

“in London in the 1850′s there were stinking places aplenty. There was no central sewage; human excrement was deposited in the cesspools under the cellars of buildings; the cesspools frequently overflowed into the cellars and courtyards in poorer neighborhoods.

“Cesspools were periodically emptied by “night-soil men”, and the contents was carted off to the fields, but it was a costly operation. What sewers there were, discharged into the Thames as a grand sewer, which produced such an unbearable stench that, one memorable Summer, Parliament was forced to adjourn.

Eventually, a huge program for city sewage was implemented, a true wonder of engineering, and London’s sewage was diverted to the lower Thames, where the tides took it out to sea.”

Comment:
There ya go. Humanity has survived and prospered in the worst of environmental times. Things are a lot better now, and its time for you to STOP, RETIRE. Enough is enough. Too much of anything is NOT good.

Get a new hobby or new life. You are promoting the destruction of tax PAYING jobs and replacing them with tax ABSORBING jobs. Wake up and stop being unwittingly used by the globalist agenda.

The latest environmental laws since 1971 were to create new alternative service and enforcement occupations to over ride the global sharing or off shoring of USA manufacturing jobs.

The Chinese, India people, third world people, developing nations, emerging market citizens LOVE the factories, farms, mines, wells, pipelines and smoke stacks etc etc.
Higher living standards are worth it.

The propaganda press has succeeded in making Americans HATE and despise factories, farms, mines, wells, pipelines and smoke stacks etc etc.

You people also need to STOP telling car makers every year how YOU (really they) want the cars built. Leave bad enough alone. You are keeping them in a constant research and development stage.

Making us guinea pigs, too many recalls, never perfected, like the cars peak technology in reliance user friendly, and simplicity of the 1970 models.

Forget about 100 miles per gallon, and pure oxygen coming out of the tail pipe.

The propaganda press has succeeded in making Americans HATE and despise factories, farms, mines, wells, pipelines and smoke stacks etc etc.

Just can’t pull the trigger
