Labor Participation Rate Drops To Fresh 38 Year Low; Record 92.9 Million Americans Not In Labor Force

Another month, another attempt by the BLS to mask the collapse in the US labor force with a goalseeked seasonally-adjusted surge in waiter, bartender and other low-paying jobs. Case in point: after a modest rebound by 0.1% in November, the labor participation rate just slid once more, dropping to 62.7%, or the lowest print since December 1977. This happened because the number of Americans not in the labor forced soared by 451,000 in December, far outpacing the 111,000 jobs added according to the Household Survey, and is the primary reason why the number of uenmployed Americans dropped by 383,000.

what’s a few billion here and there? in my city letting your license plate sticker lapse (even if car is just parked on a city street) is now $75. Why just $75 and not $750? there’s no real difference, fraud is fraud. This is unconstitutional taxation without representation. And it’s only going to get worse. We can thank the Clintons for the tough on crime policies back in 94 and the congress who voted on them from schools to increasing sentences and building new prisons. Then came NAFTA allowing jobs to cross borders. They are just backward thinking. What caused the rebellion of the 80s and 90s of children looked at as something to fear? Them, trying to play parent and a lousy abusive one at that making it worse by using Schools s a gate way to prisons. And instead of keeping jobs here not by force but incentive they signed them away. Much damage was done during those years that were increasingly abused by zero intelligence inforcers through time. It is also discrimitave. Now their starting to re think them. Duh

‘Cyborg’ spinal implant could help paralysed walk again
Paralysed patients have been given new hope of recovery after rats with severe spinal injuries walked again through a ‘groundbreaking’ new cyborg-style implant.
In technology which could have come straight out of a science fiction novel or Hollwood movie, French scientists have created a thin prosthetic ribbon, embedded with electrodes, which lies along the spinal cord and delivers electrical impulses and drugs.
The prosthetic, described by British experts as ‘quite remarkable’, is soft enough to bend with tissue surrounding the backbone to avoid discomfort.
Paralysed rats who were fitted with the implant were able to walk on their own again after just a few weeks of training.
Researchers at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne are hoping to move to clinical trials in humans soon. They believe that a device could last 10 years in humans before needing to be replaced.

Heck, what makes you think the precious stocks will do well when TSHTF? Some good money has been made in the gold/silver stocks since late Nov – early Dec until now. And more will likely be made in the coming months, it seems.
But hold them till this ball of string comes undone? I think not. I think I’ll want something besides stocks when the undoing arrives. It is still a long ways off…since the entire system is now corrupted and we have generations of govvy educated idiots playing the lemmings role…who or what will put a stop to it all? Musical chairs being played now; and the music just started…

Any parent trying to raise kids in Southern California back in 70-80s and on who’s kids were harassed by playing out side by illegals or steal or bully the younger kids then get harassed again from police for either picking on the poor illegals for defending themselves from them or getting accused with something for parents even letting them go out to play because of it knows how backwards they system is. The result was the americans got the out of there to protect their kids plus cars plus over crowded non English speaking school system plus belongings and anything not nailed down, grafitty on their fences, drugs, gamgs, ruining a lot of neighborhood that once were safe. Once they get away with one thing they move to the next. Pretty soon there will be no where for kids to play if they have their way.
