Check the dates. Tom Cole served in the house before he was elected o the senate. He and Obama were freshman senators together. Cole personally liked Obama and visited with him often.

That’s what people don’t think about. I can’t remember what they told me about things but was shocked to see how low prices were compared to here. Where companies who out source it pays for them as exchanging American dillars for theirs makes labor cheap. I think the Filipino said the 200 dollars their money was 6000 pesos a month which if in US dollars wouldn’t be low wages. But say if they paid someone there 6000 a month all they’d have to pay is 200 US. So is being the reserve currency is not doing is any good really wed have more fun without it lol It’s only businesses that profit.

I thank you all for those comebacks. Well said. Regarding “low” “dollar” denominated pay scales in other countries, they may not actually be low, depending on the costs in other countries.

I just heard tonight, during the revolutionary war, nurses were hired at $2 per MONTH. It MAY have been a very lucrative salary related to costs. Imagine the high value of the Penny? It would explain the half penny coins.

Nowadays the entire dollar of 100 pennies (5 slices of bread) buys nothing. A tiny small dollar broken down into microscopic pennies is senseless today. All final purchases at the super market, gas station, etc should be rounded off to the nearest 5 slices of bread, or one dollar.

People suggesting eliminating the penny or nickel are not thinking deep enough or realistic.

Why Christians Should Support Israel

The Apple of HIS Eye…

Everything Christians do should be based upon the Biblical text. Here are seven solid Bible reasons why Christians should support Israel.

Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all nations of the earth be blessed.” Point: God has promised to bless the man or nation that blesses the Chosen People. History has proven beyond reasonable doubt that the nations that have blessed the Jewish people have had the blessing of God; the nations that have cursed the Jewish people have experienced the curse of God.

St. Paul recorded in Romans 15:27 “For if the Gentiles have shared in their (the Jews) spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.”

Christians owe a debt of eternal gratitude to the Jewish people for their contributions that gave birth to the Christian faith. Jesus Christ, a prominent Rabbi from Nazareth said, “Salvation is of the Jews!” (St. John 4:22) consider what the Jewish people have given to Christianity:

The Sacred Scripture
The Prophets
The Patriarchs
Mary, Joseph, and Jesus Christ of Nazareth
The Twelve Disciples
The Apostles
It is not possible to say, “I am a Christian” and not love the Jewish people. The Bible teaches that love is not what you say, but what you do. (1 John 3:18) “A bell is not a bell until you ring it, a song is not a song until you sing it, love is not love until you share it.”

While some Christians try to deny the connection between Jesus of Nazareth and the Jews of the world, Jesus never denied his Jewishness. He was born Jewish, He was circumcised on the eighth day in keeping with Jewish tradition, He had his Bar Mitzvah on his 13th birthday, He kept the law of Moses, He wore the Prayer Shawl Moses commanded all Jewish men to wear, He died on a cross with an inscription over His head, “King of the Jews!

Jesus considered the Jewish people His family. Jesus said (Matthew 25:40) “Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren (the Jewish people… Gentiles were never called His brethren), ye have done it unto me.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love thee.” (Psalm 122:6) the scriptural principle of prosperity is tied to blessing Israel and the city of Jerusalem.

Why did Jesus Christ go to the house of Cornelius in Capernaum and heal his servant, which was ready to die? What logic did the Jewish elders use with Jesus to convince Him to come into the house of a Gentile and perform a miracle?

The logic they used is recorded in Luke 7:5; “For He loveth our nation, and He hath built us a synagogue.” The message? This Gentile deserves the blessing of God because he loves our nation and has done something practical to bless the Jewish people.

Why did God the Father select the house of Cornelius in Caesarea (Acts Chapter 10) to be the first Gentile house in Israel to receive the Gospel? The answer is given repeatedly in Acts 10.

Acts 10:2 “a devout man, (Cornelius) and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.” Who were the people to whom Cornelius gave these alms? They were the Jews

Again is Acts 10:4 “… thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.”

Again in Acts 10:31 “… and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.”
The point is made three times in the same chapter. A godly Gentile who expressed his unconditional love for the Jewish people in a practical manner was divinely selected by heaven to be the first Gentile house to receive the Gospel and the first to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

These combined Scriptures verify that PROSPERITY (Genesis 12:3 and Psalm 122:6), HEALING (Luke 7:1-5) and the OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT came first to Gentiles that blessed the Jewish people and the nation of Israel in a practical manner.

We support Israel because all other nations were created by an act of men, but Israel was created by an act of God! The Royal Land Grant that was given to Abraham and his seed through Isaac and Jacob with an everlasting and unconditional covenant. (Genesis 12:1-3, 13:14-18, 15:1-21, 17:4-8, 22:15-18, 26:1-5 and Psalm 89:28-37.)

Kinda goes together doesn’t it. If they plan deflation you have to suspect they plan war or gonna push someone like what’s happening to the Russian dollar into it. Yeah most of these today’s polititians were draft dodgers or had some safe job a woman could do. Not that women can’t do more now but hard to raise your kids with your legs or hands blown off.

North I admire the Jewish people for trying to keep the attitude of love they neighbor what do they call it to love for nothing despite religious enemies are even entering their places of worship now which they used to at least leave alone. I just hope they don’t love too much cuz that didn’t work out too well in the 1940s.

When they had the draft during the Viet Nam war, they had draft dodgers and lots of resentment when the connected like Dick Cheney were able to be excused from the draft. Now there is no draft and no jobs either.  So the young and immature are lured into the military if they want a career and the rich kids can stay out of the military without any blow-back. The strong dollar is all about keeping the military complex going and if it means higher unemployment, all the better, as it ensures a fresh crop of cannon fodder!

PLEDGE OF CHRISTIANS UNITED FOR ISRAEL:

We believe that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient land of Israel, and that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of this historic right.

We maintain that there is no excuse for acts of terrorism against Israel and that Israel has the same right as every other nation to defend her citizens from such violent attacks.

We pledge to stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel and to speak out on their behalf whenever and wherever necessary until the attacks stop and they are finally living in peace and security with their neighbors.

Central banks are entering the delirium phase

Posted by Richard640 @ 18:45 on December 21, 2014

What QE in the Eurozone will do is enable fiscal fraud in the peripheral countries and a further inflation of already lunatic valuations of sovereign debt. It is now an established fact that the Italian government, for example, cannot get out of its own way, and that its public debt is in a death spiral. Yet today the Italian 10-year is trading at a 1.9% yield because the fast money traders are happy to hold it on zero cost repo—- until the ECB takes it off their hands at an enormous windfall gain a few months down the road.

The above pictures are no more anomalous than today’s 35 bps yield on 10-year JGBs——the debt of a government which is hopelessly bankrupt and for which there is virtually not a single bid anywhere outside of the open market desk of the BOJ. Nor does it make any more sense than today’s heated rip on Wall Street based on the word “patient” at a point in the cycle where 71 months of free carry trade money has already inflated financial asset values to the nose-bleed section of history.

In short, the central banks of the world are embroiled in a group-think mania so extreme and irrational that it puts one in mind of the spasm of witchcraft trials that erupted in the Massachusetts Bay Colony nearly four centuries ago. As a practical matter, this mania amounts to a race to the currency bottom and the final extinguishment of the price discovery mechanism in every financial market on the planet.

Flying blind, the financial markets are thus bubbling–in the delirium phase—-like never before. That is, until they don’t.

Central Banks Are Now Uncorking The Delirium Phase

The Keynesian PhD Brigade Strikes Again: Sweden’s Riksbank Joins The ZIRP Mania

Posted by Richard640 @ 18:29 on December 21, 2014

by David Stockman • December 21, 2014
Folks, it’s a tyranny of the PhDs. Recently the central bank of Sweden was subject to a withering tirade by that oracle of Keynesian rubbish, professor Paul Krugman, who accused it of “sado-monetarism” for leaving the Swedish economy exposed to the mythical economic disease of “deflation”.

So the Riksbank threw caution to the wind, and a few months ago joined the global central bank plunge into ZIRP and promised to ladle out free money until at least 2016. To leave no doubt about its intentions, it is currently cranking up plans for “direct lending”, “asset purchases”, negative interest rates (N-ZIRP) and the rest of the recently invented central bankers’ voodoo kit. Anything to achieve its sacred 2% inflation target!

So still another central bank has been infected by the 2% inflation shibboleth—-a folly the greatest central banker of our era dispatched recently with a single sentence:

Mr. Volcker, who believes the Fed’s main goal is to defend the dollar’s stability, said he doesn’t even understand why the Fed adopted a 2% target for inflation. He asked, “Do we want prices to double every generation?”

Yes, today’s Keynesian central bankers don’t particularly care what happens in the next 30 years or even 30 months. It’s all about the noise-ridden “in-coming” data and whether the gap between actual production and employment, one the one hand, and a theoretical figment called full employment or “potential” GDP, on the other, has been closed.

It is downright amazing that the $75 trillion global economy is in thrall to the stupid math models of a couple of hundred PhDs. And these so-called DSGE models (dynamic stochastic general equilibrium) are, indeed, just plain stupid.

It’s good to see what people in other countries think. I’ve seen that statement many times about pay being better in US compared to theirs and why they cone here complaining about pay there. A nurse from Philippines told me that in her country they only pay them 200 dollars US a month so they are going here as well as Europe and Arabia. Do they care of they are taking jobs from new nurses going into the field? Apparently not..  Although … In the same breath… They will complain about the cost of everything. In our country it only cost this much to fix a car, for a taxi, to go out on the town. In our country we have more fun than the US. So although the pay is better cost is higher so basically as far as cost wise they are living in similar standards as us anyways just a different level of poverty as far as better standards. Better housing, not walking down the street in waist deep water, having clean water and electricity but still in poverty.  As far as giving up your son for living standards it is now give us your sons life so others can have better living standards while yours go down. Its a lose lose situation.

If our only perspective comes from the same source, kinda like everyone peeping through the same MSM keyhole, then that is our perception of the truth.

However, the way I see you, and also a few others, is as someone who is standing in that room everybody else is only able to see through the keyhole. So you are able to offer a much broader and different picture of what is really on the other side of the door in the next room.

I hope you’ll continue with your valuable posts. Thanks!!         Silverngold

Yep not inly that but like WW11 they come back to no jobs. That ought to be a big clue it’s not about their country. As far as sending their kids many will go anyways. One reason is ” no jobs” or better port unites that are no longer there, how convienant is that to get people to enlist. My daughter in laws sister a army nurse has had problems getting jobs while still in the reserves because of her reserve status. She finally got one but not the one she’s really wanted. Like Armstrong said when everyone’s fat and happy there’s peace when the economies crumble their is war.

Me?  I usually just stop and think – if a hill-billy father was given the chance, give me your son’s life and I will keep your standard of living as it is – what do you think he would reply?

I would live like a pauper to keep my son.  Yet thousands of Americans send their sons off every week, just to protect the $US and support the will of the bankers.

And I don’t think our viewpoints are even that divergent. Maybe the greatest divergence is between your hopefulness that we have turned a corner and things are changing for the better, and my own increasing despair that it may be too late for us to save any semblance of our country.

I think we may all agree in that what’s going on or has was wrong or a wrong way of going about things. More of a questions on the rights or wrongs of individual matters

. As far as buying products I see the economic value of that. How can we expect a country to buy our products if we don’t buy theirs. They’ll be too broke to buy ours and vise versa. The problem lies with the unfairness of the trade agreements which there are MANY and seem to benefit these other countries at the expense of ours. Just another form of taking food out of our and our children’s mouths.

This globalization does not appear to just help other countries out of poverty but although bringing jobs to other countries it’s more like creatiing slave labor society by creatimg low paying jobs across the board with out sourcing as well as insourcing a flood of immigrant workers to drive wages down using the excuse of creating jobs so the only ones who profit is the politicians and big business. That in effect is exactly what their doing and why it looks like their becoming more like us and they more like them globally. In the meantime any competors even farmers are brought down by big business using politicians through regulations and taxation and why we’re seeing a geographic shift where businesses and start up business move. Depopulation through war never solved anything they just populated again and a crewel way for others who initiate it never suffer. Education is or initiate policies like China did if they don’t listen. Some places more foreign babies are being born than citizens even though they are not the majority and many dependent on gov assistance to do it. ” not the majority but having the majority of kids something wrong with that picture.”

Immigration and taking jobs from others  solves nothing just spreads it to other countries and neighborhoods.

PS If You See The Global Economy Failing?

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:03 on December 21, 2014

Ask yourself….Is global capitalism failing? Or is it global socialism that’s failing? The only people ENJOYING unfettered capitalism is big business. They are in a world all their own. Operating across borders, and causing more and more poverty that needs local socialism.

Over an out.

“Absolutely every communist regime on the planet did this as soon as they got in power.” And Brady’s: “There is no doubt he (Obama) is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him.”

Comment:
It’s understandable for laid off people to complain about losing a real cushy job with enormous benefits. You should hear the cops complain about losing some over time pay. “Crime will go up you NEED us”

Teachers being laid off, and or complaining about bigger class sizes…”What about the poor kids education” bla bal bla. When I was a kid 30 in a class was common. After that they got smaller, no longer affordable.

“Maybe something’s wrong with my brain, because I think the communists or socialists, gradually took over the USA after WWII, and after the McCarthy era, when “HE” (really many others) tried but failed to weed out the communists influences in Hollywood and many other places.

Note we are now allies with Communist China and Communist Russia, (Russian rivalry is always false) and now absorbing communist Cuba too. Cuba won. To me? The communist countries are slightly more like us, and “we” are a lot more like them. Globalization is global socialism.

All US wealth has been shared globally. Its no accident that we imported VW Beetles after WWII, and later on a bunch of Toyotas starting around 1970, using US consumer Dollars taken away from the USA.

The commies also took half our gold hoards away at $35/oz between 1934 and the 1971 cut off, as Gold was trading privately at $140. “We” didn’t WANT that. The RECIEVERS of US wealth must have wanted it. Our gov’t and country is INFESTED with pro foreign unpatriotic moles with their hand out for other countries.

Because my views are so different than every one else’s here in the tent, I’m beginning to think I really don’t fit in here in the tent.

Personally don’t care not in a insensitive way but how easily people can be led into things and justifying atrocities. I never learned this in school a Russian woman told me about it and how her uncle by some miracle who was beaten shot and left to drown or something long time ago told me about it. Jewish went the only people who have suffered because of their beliefs that weren’t hurting or making war anyone else. It seems to always lead back to mad men wanting to hold on or gain power and what’s in it for their followers. I suppose some could fall in love or want to be like a serial killer if there was something in it for them. Seems to me morals are only as good as people’s personal aspirations.
