Can someone (WANKA?) tell me how to do this:

I have a stock certificate owned by me & my wife JT TEN.   We are getting divorced, and she will sign it over to me.  Then I want to transfer it to my broker Scottrade.

Now you have to get the signature(s) guaranteed by a “guarantor institution”.  Can my wife take it to a bank, sign it, have it guaranteed, then return it to me — then I do the same, and then take it to Scottrade?

Or do we both have to appear together at a guarantor institution?  (that would be a little complicated)

Winedoc thanks, wish I could say the same for all Doctors but your one of the exceptions. You can actually talk to the patients but unbeknownst to them can leave a track record if their possible health concerns at times just through their personalitys. I use it in kids all the time a game to them, me too but assessment at same time.
