commish @ 19:20 re 1 in 3 cars loans are late or not being paid.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 21:00 on September 2, 2014

That’s no surprise to me. I read that they now have sub prime loans for car buyers. In my area I see loads of very new cars all around me. Everybody and their uncle must have bought a new car in the last 3-5 years.

It must be 75% to 90% newer cars out there. Another thing I noticed. A VERY VERY big increase of American tagged cars on the road. Dodges, Chryslers, Fords, Buicks, Chevys, Jeeps etc. And another thing. HUGE V-8 four wheel drive American pick up trucks and vans.

It looks like a lot more people don’t care about gas mileage anymore. They all must have gotten used to $4/gallon? Or they all got tired of driving those crappy tiny under powered Jap and Korean gas saver cars. They all look the same. They are like appliances. Or Bic lighters. Crappy image cars.

Also, many people with plenty of money, know they can’t take it with them to the happy hunting grounds.

Anybody else out there notice all those huge Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons Lincoln Navigators out there?? I also noticed lately HUGE Honda and Nissan SUVs.

And Where Is TEO ? ( The Evil One)

Now you would think even her…..would hate to see her number one Frog in pain and suffering. My legs are like jelly, my back is aching, and you would think she would swoop down and either fix me, or kill me. Don’t really make much difference to me. 🙂

Which, I presume, like some kinda angel, she is just up there watching, and laughing her butt off.

🙂 God, you cant help but love her.

had a friend, who was trying to help, call a few minutes ago. God Bless em. But he started out telling me all about these stretching exercises……..and Im thinking….about the only thing I want to stretch at the moment is his dang neck!!

I hard a rough time, musta took ten minutes just to get my shoes tied this morning. And to tell ya the truth, I finally quit trying. I took those shoes off my feet, tied em loosely, and then eventually wiggled my feet into em.

Tell ya what, when I can stand up straight again, and I aint in too much pain, you can tell me all about this yoga stuff. Fair enough? Otherwise, Im just gonna have to kill you. 🙂

Mr.GoldBug @ 20:07 Now, Just So Happens, There Is An Ice Machine….

Posted by Farmboy @ 20:36 on September 2, 2014

Now had you and Wanka told me that earlier…..while I was crawling on all fours to get me something to drink….I could have snagged self a bag of ice. Found some garbage bags, and in a few minutes will see if I can make that journey again. Nothing else seems to be helping much, so willing to crawl into the ice machine for the night if can find some relief.

Appreciate it, Farmboy, who is still licking his pride over having to ask a young kid to load a full propane tank into the back of my truck today. But the boy was kind to an old man. Guess he seen my pain on my face and offered to load it for me. Still, an embarrassing moment for me. Is this my future…..having to ask folks to do things for me? Don’t reckon I will handle it well.

and get her to sing a song with me, I am pretty sure my back aint gonna hurt so much. But I got to tell you, for future reference.  don’t send that video to anyone with back pain. just watching that boy jerk his head around was enough to start a whole new set of spasms down my back

Course, Im guessing you knew it would. All is fair in love and war during footbsll season !

I just dealt with a bad back / Muscles .. Ice is good! …I once pulled some muscles in my neck/shoulder area … i thought i was doing well putting heat, it brought temporary relief, but after ending up at the doctor, He said no heat at all for the first 48/72 hours.

he said while temporary relief, i was only inflaming the muscles .. (kinda like when posters respond to TA/Day traders comments) only inflames the situation.

ICE is your friend, I had shooting pain that was unbearable !! .. muscle relaxers and pain meds did nothing!

I would ice it till the pain went away, then repeat .. be careful not to burn your skin with a direct ice pack.

hope you feel better, Mr.Bug

Great on sandwiches, eggs, baked potatoes, burritos, tacos …. I’m researching giving it to my dogs.

Farmboy … if I don’t do my yoga for 3 or 4 days I feel 10 years older … although that is a before the injury kind of thing. Look into it when you’re feeling right.

Mr.Copper – US Consumer hoarding money

Posted by commish @ 19:20 on September 2, 2014

I guess that is why 1 in 3 cars loans are late or not being paid. People don’t want to depart with $200 to attend a college foot game rather stay home and watch it on TV.

Aren’t going out to eat.

Actually was sitting here staring up at the ceiling in the warehouse. There is this huge metal beam about 20 something feet up in the air. I have a forklift and logging chain. Was thinking…..could hang upside down on the beam for a bit. But then, who the hell is goann get me down? lol

You know, I used to live with a gal that did massage, professional sports stuff. she learned me a thing or two. I was reaching the best I could behind my back. Found a knotted bunch of muscles about 3/4 down my back. Going to try to find a tennis ball, or something, to press against the knot of muscles. Don’t pay no mind to some idiot screaming his head off in awhile. (grin)

Soon as I get this back thing fixed, I will entertain the thoughts of those twenty somethings. 🙂

Yeah Ment, Moggy Could Fix Me Right Up….

Actually use a lot of Tur…whatever you said in my cooking. That and Cumin, although I learned a little trick just last week. Buy the Cumin seeds and crush em up. Much more flavor than the store bought spices. Asked the fella where he found Cumin seeds…sez he orders them on line from Texas.

Mr.Copper @ 18:10 Thanks !

Posted by Farmboy @ 18:46 on September 2, 2014

Soon as I think I am able, gonna see if I can use a little mind over matter to get to the ice machine. Trouble is….that damn back aint listening to a thing I tell it. (lol) Dang, it just wont let up for more than a minute. And when it decides to ‘kick’, nearly takes my breath away. Guess I will just have to show it who is boss. (grin)

Have not had back issues in years. Never thought about stress as contributing factor. Figured I was paying for showing off this weekend. Well…not really showing off, just wanted the rest of the crew to know I could hold my own and then some. Even thinking about checking in to a nearby hotel that has a hot tub/Jacuzzi. Thought that might help, but ole Wanka sez an ice dip is better?? I’m thinking….next time it acts up, just find me someone to take a baseball bat and beat the heck out of it. Cant see it hurtin more than this.

try Turmeric Curcumin 1000 mg

is a good pain relief,, and kills a lot of bad stuff in the body.. google it and get the low down//

actually better than advil and other over the counter pain medications

as Turmeric does not harm the liver , kidneys , and the lining of the stomach as over the counter pain pills will.. Seems to take a week for the turmeric to really start working ,,

Flagold re Fed: US consumers have decided to ‘hoard money’

Part: “Fed: US consumers have decided to ‘hoard money’”

Comment:

These people must have a very bad memory. After the stock market crash of the March 2000 dot com peak. (5000 naz to 1,000) THEN the Sept 2001 attack, the Fed bozos dropped rates hard and fast creating an over spending situation.

Cash for clunkers etc. People in every village and town was encouraged to buy things they did not even need YET. New windows, heating units, siding, solar panels, TV sets on and on.

Nobody needs anything anymore. They kept everybody in an over bought mode. This is why they want higher minimum wages for non union entry level private sector humps. At least THEY have unmet needs. But even many of them got liar loans and got the needs and wants.

Its time for the USA population to get a rest. 20 hour work week.

Farmboy @ 17:35

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 18:10 on September 2, 2014

I had a bad back starting at 18 years old. Sometimes an “attack” would last 7-10 days. One time I got attacked just driving down rt 110. The last one was the WORST. About 3 supper bowls ago.

The day before I was supposed to go to a super bowl party, tying my shoes and got an attack. The pain took my breath away. Fell cross ways across the bed and could not move one inch to even watch the TV for 3-4 hours.

No time now for the whole story, but after I got better, visited my friend at the used car lot, he told me their was nothing wrong with my back. He saw the Dr on TV. Howard Stern called the TV show and told everybody to listen to that guy. He knows his stuff.

Any way, he tells me “Its all stress related.” “Get the book, “Mind over back pain” by Doctor Sarno.

Its a small book and an easy interesting read. He treats people that had acupuncture, chiropractor work, etc and even people that had surgery, and pain stays away for a while and comes back. He says the placebo effect works, short term, but pain comes back because wrong approach.

I never had an attack again for at least the past three years. Only recently I had a very stressful situation, picked something up, back of toilet tank cover and got NAILED, and I KNEW why, and it went away in a half hour. Bayer aspirin worked.

Dr. Sarno says its big business and they try to shut him up. Every back bone has abnormalities, and they focus on that, show you and treat that. Many case histories in the book……

“Oh I should not have lifted that thing” “I should not have gone golfing” etc etc. Read that book.

If this don’t ease up soon I will be typing with my nose. Kinda has me doubled up at the moment. This one is a strange one. Didn’t feel any tearing or pain, just kinda crept up on me. Must be related to some bankster. lol

Do have a friend that grows a little green stuff. Might give him a call in a few. If I could get a few hours of sleep I think I could deal with the pain a little better.

Here is a word to the wise. Went buy the pharmacy earlier. Bought a bottle of advil. Just opened it and found the seal was broken, and only  a few pills in the bottle. Guess one should check the bottles/seals before leaving the store these days. Live and learn.

Floridagold @ 17:32 I Knew It! Was Your’s and Wanka Fault All Along

Posted by Farmboy @ 17:50 on September 2, 2014

But from what I am seeing, it aint folks ‘hoarding’ money. They aint got nothing to hoard ! And when I go into the store I see folks paying for a gallon of gas or two with change, not bills. If what I am seeing is indicative of the Country, we are headed for some rough times.

Told you about working at the food pantry on Saturdays. A lot of hurtin folks out there. And its just not the ‘poor’ that one would normally associate with this kind of misery. Have loaded groceries in a Jaguar and a few Cadillac Escalades.  We don’t ask questions, if you say you are hungry, and need something to eat we will provide some food. Sure a few folks take advantage, but for the most part, I think most are hurting these days. And the numbers of those asking for help keep growing each week.

Kinda sad, to see the current state of affairs in this once great land of Opportunity. And this probably goes how most folks see it or think, but I figure only about 20% are the welfare crowd. The rest are good hard working folks that don’t have a job and cant find one. They seem to be going under the Obama and Media radar. Nobody wants to talk about them.

Any of You Old Geezers Got A Secret To Back Pain, Im All Ears

Posted by Farmboy @ 17:35 on September 2, 2014

Been in a world of hurt since the wee hours of Monday morning. Overdid it on Sunday. Have tried the usual: hydro something or other pain killers, Advil, some prescript muscle relaxor, and chased em with a beer or two and a pint of whiskey. Feeling pretty looped up, but has had little relief on the pain.  Best thing I found so far is to heat up a couple towels in the Microwave and throw em on the concrete floor and lay on top of em. Seems to work best, but only about 20 minutes and the spasms come back it seems with a vengeance. Any of you folks have another idea I would sure like to hear them.

The boys can handle the business until Sunday, but then a big job coming up. Have not been able to sleep much the past few days so feeling pretty wore out. Thinking of even driving self up to the ER . Lord, a shot of morphine would go a long way about now. But with my cardio history if I show up for a hang nail they automatically keep me for 3 days. Could use the rest, and flirt with the nurses, but I cant afford to be down right now. Anybody got a trick or two I can try?

Thanks, Ole Fool Farmboy, who just had to do more than I should have.  this weekend gonna let the young bucks run the show. Got enough pain killers in me that my fingers going numb, but the back pain aint letting loose. Enough to bring a tear to the cheek every now and then. guess I wasn’t made for getting old ? (grin)

Their members include virtually all the politicians and editors of major newspapers in the world. They are now pushing the Fed to give away money. How they determine who gets what is another question. But, hypothetically, people might get something like $80,000 in their account

Posted by Farmboy @ 17:03 on September 2, 2014

but on the other hand, I would not have a problem pushing some dudess away from the sink. Just wouldn’t feel right doing that to a woman.

As a member of the lower speicies, male, and having been the father to two daughters, I am well acquainted with waiting my turn in the bathroom. Don’t know what takes you gals so darn long. But also told once I don’t wanna know. lol

But yeah, some guy wants to put his make up on, and I am in a hurry to catch the next inning. ….guess we will find out if his makeup is waterproof. (grin) Lord, I aint right !  (lol)

That is IF it’s a woman putting on her makeup. My worry the wrong person gets in there who’s not gay. A college I went to years ago to grab some classes there was a guy who went in there attacked a girl but luckily she escaped.
