This weekend my niece Tara had a big surprise birthday party at a restaurant for my brothers 70th birthday.  At least 25 of his friends. Tara sent an invitation to “Bob in the back”, his wife calls and said he died two years ago. So just last night my brother and I start talking about all the people that dies early, including Bob in the back. He was a health freak eating weird stuff sprouts etc and hes gone.

Then there was Billy in the 1960s opened up a little Whole Foods store. He also was “carried” into worry by the media. One day long ago I see him in the supermarket and we’re chatting. He starts talking about food and complemented me about the Maple Syrup in my wagon, then he worried about the chop meat in my wagon “you better get that home in the fridge right away”.

He died young too. “we always get what we try to resist.” situation. There were a few others too even my wife in the 1960s got carried away by media that kept inventing new consumer products (organic food free of pesticides etc) we don’t really need, and there were none of that in the 1950s and before.  She didn’t start after she got sick, it was decades before.

We also talked about the people we knew who lived VERY unhealthy lives and are still around. What you seem to describe are things we were taught by media (business gov’t) leadership. What I talk about are things I’ve seen and observed that are opposite of the past leadership teachings to pass on.

When our number is up, its up. And if anything, inheriting good genes and a good long marriage, good state of mind and exercise are the most important things for longevity. To me? Trying to extend our lives thru or by what we eat or take in, is like trying to control never ending climate change. In many cases placebo works.

Researchers at Zhejiang University and the University of Maryland discovered that the fungus Metarhizium robertsii removes mercury from the soil around plant roots, and from fresh and saltwater.

But the big elephant in the room is that crypto is a closed loop. Its only source of “revenue” is speculation on coins. To the extent the value of coins can be modeled in ways that are similar to equity (and some can be), that future revenue is only a function of desire to speculate on coins. And then when coin values fall, and desire to speculate goes down (because that’s what happens in a bear market), then the “fundamentals” fall as well, and down the spiral goes. There’s no obvious circuit breaker or curb to stem the decline.

This isn’t to say all the coins are going to zero. Now that’s kinda funny, it made me laugh.
Instead saying more people have it than they realize it or vita D can decrease after a certain age it like oh that’s not abnormal it hasn’t increased we’re just looking for it now. How can they compare it to past if they didn’t look for it then? However I’m sure many doctors and nurses already knew that.
Diets have changed during time, activity, and the amount of sun. Perhaps too as we get older we don’t absorb enough to aid in making vitamin D as some geriatrics believe and need supplements. “Then coupled with not getting enough sun anymore.” Those with more sedentary lives physically like plus stuck inside more that outside likely with it too are going to be more prone to weaker bones than those who get out more and at least light weight bearing activities.

I’m not getting your point though. First you say you don’t worry about being exposed to toxins and people worry too much about them like mercury and went as far as soap on the other end. Then you say other things could kill you and sadly pointed to your wife taking or using certain things for health where that is a normal reaction in a abnormal situation looking for something to blame, even themselves. Sometimes rational or things that didn’t help other times when they don’t know can be irrational due to grief. When one of my brothers wife’s died young of pneumonia he looked for something to blame and targeted cigarettes.
