Gold is moving, and so shall we.  Back when “Airmail” cost extra and was usually reserved for overseas mail, this was the iron pony express across the country
the Santa Fe Fast Mail Express. Multiple ‘RPO’ Railway Post Office cars carrying everything the  Post Offices along the route could throw at it.

Overnight thanks to GLOBAL socialism 33% of the USA population is Foreign born

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:21 on October 18, 2015

The USA is broke and in debt. And 95% of all store inventory is foreign made. 90% of all the cars are foreign made too. The USA has been importing far more than it exports since 1970 to support foreign countries. We fought for them also, paid with money and lives. For the greater good of course.

Unfortunately the green bean thief got away green handed.

Great year for tomatoes. Still taking a few although the end is near. Growing garlic for the first time. They are a little bigger than I’d like with winter coming, I guess I need to do some deep mulch to protect them from snow-freezing.

How bout you? Grow some tomatoes this year?

Overnight thanks to socialism a German town will be over run with refugees 10 to 1.

A small German town with a 100 being forced to take 1000 refugees. What started with a few thousand alleged refugees humanitarian act turned into Maximum overdrive as it always does when they have no regard to their own citizens welfare.

Suffolk County facing $51.8 million sales tax shortfall

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:59 on October 18, 2015

re part:
“Suffolk County faces a gaping $51.8 million, two-year deficit in sales-tax revenue, according to a new report by legislative budget analysts, putting a huge hole in the $2.9 billion budget County Executive Steve Bellone unveiled last month.

The new estimates from the Office of Budget Review — the first since dismal sales-tax figures came to light a week ago — forecast a $48.6 million deficit in the general fund and a $3.2 million shortfall in the county’s water protection fund.”

Below, my response to the media writer rick.brand@newsday.com 

Rick,

Food for thought. People can’t spend like they used to after 40 years of outsourcing our production jobs of consumer products. Simply, the USA after 1980 was not supposed to export work and import people at the same time, resulting in less work with more people equals lower wages and lower tax receipts.

Now, regarding the 8.625% sales tax.

#1 The global corporations that outsource work to avoid US taxes and labor.
#2 The global corporations that import cheaply, our consumer needs for higher profit.

Those people should be paying an 8.625% import tax to help over ride USA losses. Not the consumers. Think about it. We are exporting jobs, and taxing ourselves?? Like Trump said…Our leaders are stupid. I’ll add to that. Stupid and or taking bribes from corporations.

You media people should really try to educate people as to why things are bad. IMPORTS. And stop telling people what they already know. Bring important valuable unknown information to their attention like I did for you.

A factory can survive WITHOUT an office and a showroom. An office and a showroom can NOT survive without a factory. The big corporations have turned the entire USA into an office and a showroom. And turned China et al into the factory.

It does not mater anymore anyway because the past 40 years was a mistake, the damage has been done, and a natural transition in unfolding to correct the past. Time to be optimistic because the past is finally resulting in failure of the past.

Best regards,
Mr. Copper

Thanks for the comeback, very interesting. All I can say is, in general, imo, the trend I’ve seen over the decades is the communist type central planners, and big business,

do not like or want small businesses to succeed because they have the ability to “cheat” and not follow all the rules. Where as a BIG business has to obey because they have too much to lose.

I believe the above is naturally transitioning into reverse, because the past was a mistake and no longer sustainable.

Don’t even think.

Coincidentally I just ran into this article. Thought it was interesting.

10 Words We Got from the Vikings

The English language has a nerve claiming to be Anglo-Saxon or a pure-breed of any sort. It’s a mishmash of dialects, languages and one-off words that come from several migrating nations—both into the British Isles and from the various nations Britain colonized—dating back to Roman times. And one of the largest influences on the development of modern-day English comes from the Vikings.

They came from Denmark, Sweden and Norway, partly to rob, partly to invade and settle, and the legacy of language they left behind remains indelibly marked in English dictionaries to this day. They even managed to secure two of the days of the week—Thursday – Thor’s Day and Tuesday – Tiw’s Day—although claims that Wednesday—Wodan’s Day—also counts are thought to be wide of the mark, as Wodan/Odin proves to have been a common figure in all Germanic and Norse mythology.

Here are 10 examples of words the Vikings taught us, whether we wanted them to or not:

Ransack
From the old norse rannsaka, which means to search a house, this is clearly a word that has come to betray more about how the owners of the houses felt to have been searched, than the merits (or otherwise) of the search itself.

Window
A vindauga is a wind-eye, referring to the ability to see things coming up outside of your home while remaining sheltered inside it. Very descriptive group, the Vikings.

Slaughter
Comes from slatra and, fittingly, that’s the Norse verb for butchery.

Aloft
Lopt is the Norse word for the sky, heaven and a loft, while ĂĄ means on. So bearing something aloft means to carry them up to heaven, or the sky, or put them away until next Christmas.

Husband
A portmanteau word in which hĂșs (house) and bĂłndi (occupier and tiller of soil) are fused together into a single term that is curiously quiet on the subject of wives. HĂșsbĂłndi means house-occuper (and gardener).

Blunder
The word blundra means to shut your eyes and therefore to walk around banging into things. The extra layer of meaning—to “blunder” is to make a clumsy mistake—came later, but suits the word perfectly.

Happy
Pharrell Williams didn’t manage to get this into his song, but happ is the Old Norse word for good fortune or fate. So if you’re happy (and you know it), that is because you’ve been blessed with good luck.

Heathen
Never has a word been so aptly coined. The Vikings called those people who lived on heathland or open country heiðinn, and the inference is clearly that they are hicks, backwood sorts, who have not benefitted from recent advances in modern living. That the word was later taken up by Christians and used to describe non-Christians from less civilized nations is just a reiteration of the term’s snooty origins.

Scales
This isn’t referring to fragmented sections on a fish’s skin or the system for organizing musical notes; we’re talking weighing scales. The name for these comes from skal, a word for a bowl or drinking cup. And if you’re thinking there is something familiar about this, that’s because skol (or skĂ„l) is a Viking drinking toast.

Yule
Not content with half-inching a good portion of the words that now constitute their language from their Viking invaders, the English purloined several festive customs from Scandanavia too, including jol, a pagan feast set in the depths of the winter solstice.

The Sweeds have gotton Soft

Posted by Ororeef @ 11:46 on October 18, 2015

the Socialism  has made them weak  especially the women ..they cant let go of the easy life..the migrants will overwhelm them ..if the former Vikings dont find some Men to lead them ..the Cannibal migrants will eat their food and then them …. If this sounds harsh your ignoring reality ..Maybe they will be saved by the Swedish Winter  ..Migrants will not survive in tents they will freeze to death. They come from a warm climate ..they wont survive .Sweedes  had better arm themselves and shoot to kill when the Migrants want into their houses ….The Sweedes are accustomed to Cold thats all they retain from their former lives as Vikings.

Either they get re hardened to life in Cold climate or they will be done for .Just wait until the Migrants get desperate at half frozen they will have to decide ..its us or them….Dont listen to your politicians dont trust them ,save yourselves from their mistakes..they will ruin you ….No time to be soft….

The Men had better take charge..

Same for Norway ..Denmark……You had better find your roots again Your politicians will ruin you ! The WINTER will force the issue for you ….

Just like the Russian Winter saved Russia from Germany invaders in WW2 …no difference ..

‘America is a bomb waiting to explode’

Posted by ipso facto @ 11:41 on October 18, 2015

The United States is in decline. While not all major shocks to the system will be devastating, when the right one comes along, the outcome may be dramatic.

Not all explosives are the same. We all know you have to be careful with dynamite. Best to handle it gently and not smoke while you’re around it.

Semtex is different. You can drop it. You can throw it. You can put it in the fire. Nothing will happen. Nothing until you put the right detonator in it, that is.

To me, the US – and most of the supposedly free West – increasingly looks like a truck being systematically filled with Semtex.

But it’s easy to counter cries of alarm with the fact that the truck is stable – because it’s true: you can hurl more boxes into the back without any real danger. Absent the right detonator, it is no more dangerous than a truckload of mayonnaise.

But add the right detonator and you’re just one click away from complete devastation.

We can see how fragile the U.S. is now by considering just four tendencies.

they created the TOP with every Policy Change they made…..  I continued to make tops through good years and BAD some where better than others but I always kept control ,I improvised when necessary, some businesses around me closed long before I sold .THere was an ARBYS across the street  very well managed ..He did the same as I .I saw many come & Go ..Champs Hambergers,LUMS, Pancake houses,Cafeterias  etc in Bad years I grew 1 % ..in mt best 30 % .I had competition from Krispy Kreme 1 mile away been there for 20 years before me… I always kept good relations with Employees and Customers .

I avoided Corporate advice telling me to recruit help from competition..I never did that (I didnt need to make enemys. They told me to raise prices to solve every problem  I refused ..The Corporate philosophy was to build another Dunkin Store as near to me as possible so they could benefit from MY hard work. They ended up building 7  stores to compete with me .Every store they built cut into my sales .. They all went broke ..all of them. They tried to force me to raise prices so they could get more of my sales..I refused because I WAS THE LOW COST producer CORPORATE could not compete with me ..

They became the ENEMY ..my own Franchisor ..They finally got me out when my lease expired and they doubled my RENT .They made me an offer and I took it …..Then they closed ALL of their stores 13 in the same city  because of their Greed.  Some were franchised some corporate owned ..

Im the only one that GOT PAID…The other Franchisors lost everything ,their lifes savings ! It was a blood bath…!

Sweden to become the first cashless country.

If they have notes or coins they have to explain where they come from and if not satisfied they will call the police. It comes at a time when their country is about to collapse because of mass invasions of alleged refugees.

Sweden on the brink of collapse. Are they letting this happen to use it as a excuse to go cashless, want to stop the bank runs and enslave us all?
