Nice UFO video. I bet macro man knows if that’s one of ours or not. I suspect that is one of ours.

As for the Fed, I agree, just raise already. Then we get liftoff. Either way, they’re screwed. Especially if they don’t raise in December.

I want the Fed to raise too. Beyond the knee jerk reaction when they do, we know that they can’t keep raising. Plus even raising one time might blow up the world’s economy all by itself.

After they raise and cause chaos then they won’t be able to use a theoretical rate hike to beat us with.

It’s been wearing on me for years. I don’t think we go back to 105 but maybe 115-120

It’s a comedy show. I actually want the Fed to raise now, then we might finally be able to rally. I dunno.

Well G-Damn Macro Man

Iraq To Washington: “We Don’t Need Your Help Fighting Terrorism”

Here’s NBC (because nothing says “humiliation” like the US media reporting that Baghdad has essentially told Washington “don’t call us, we’ll call you”):

The Iraqi government said Wednesday it didn’t ask for — and doesn’t need — the “direct action on the ground” promised by the Pentagon.

The revelation came a day after Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said the U.S. may carry out more unilateral ground raids — like last week’s rescue operation to free hostages — in Iraq to target ISIS militants.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi’s spokesman told NBC News that any military involvement in the country must be cleared through the Iraqi government just as U.S.-led airstrikes are.

“This is an Iraqi affair and the government did not ask the U.S. Department of Defense to be involved in direct operations,” spokesman Sa’ad al-Hadithi told NBC News. “We have enough soldiers on the ground.”

Buttercup, Ipso

Buttercup – Good to see you again. I know, I’m surprised you even admitted that slacker supreme is your cousin. I forgot to mention he’s a welcher too! 🙂

FWIW, he’s going to be right eventually but he always has problems with his timing…

Ipso – I agree. GG is a good buy right now as are a lot of these poor little pigs. JMHO but we probably have another week of these doldrums, employment report next Friday will give us a lift. I’m looking for $1120 to put my last 25% back to work and that will probably be next week some time. When I said the bottom is in I meant HUI 105. I’m not sure we get there but I’m holding out for $1120. I actually hope those idiots at the fed finally raise in December because it will be one and then more QE. If they don’t it’s game over and Wanka’s 2-3K is on the table in a hurry.

Any of you guys remember the movie “China Syndrome” with Jack Lemmon? He felt something, a vibration, and knew something was very wrong.

The China Syndrome is a 1979 American thriller film that tells the story of a television reporter and her cameraman who discover safety cover ups at a nuclear power plant. It stars Jane Fonda, Jack Lemmon, and Michael Douglas,

a nuclear meltdown scenario so named for the fanciful idea that there would be nothing to stop the meltdown tunneling its way to the other side of the world (“China”). The China Syndrome, a 1979 film inspired by the scenario.

These crazy gyrations are some day going to…You figure it out. 🙂
