The US is overtaking Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest producer of liquid petroleum, in a sign of how its booming oil production has reshaped the energy sector.

US production of oil and related liquids such as ethane and propane was neck-and-neck with Saudi Arabia in June and again in August at about 11.5m barrels a day, according to the International Energy Agency, the watchdog backed by rich countries.

the resilience was a bullish sign but now I’m throwing in the towel…I think it will just plunge thru one-O-these days…barring some “event”, the only thing gold’s got going for it is “too many bears”…maybe it will plunge on Friday after the jobs #….whether they are high or low….

Since July it went straight up. It can’t be natural market forces. I think they did it on purpose to help Europe get some inflation via a lower Euro. TPTB are a bunch of “free trade” special interests.

I never went to Europe, and don’t know anybody over there, but I’ll bet any money Europe is chocka block full of imported crap from Asia et all just like we are in the US.

The deflation started by importing cheap, to keep “inflation” numbers lower and then they sell dear to tax payers and consumers, while those wages got stagnated, and are dragging everything down, and budget deficits up.

Sorry for missing yesterday. Ladybug and I were moving furniture and must have disconnected something. And, as we are both technically-challenged, no coffee. Seems nobody missed it anyway.

If the Israelites were running CONgress why did Obummer give preference to Iran over Arabia or Israel for that matter. Funny too how gas has doubled since he’s been in office.
