I can almost feel the ocean breeze in that picture. Need to print that one out and tape it to the inside of my ole straw hat to remind me.

Going to try and help my buddy in his business for the next two months. Get him through the busy season. Then maybe give some thought to hanging out over the winter months on some Florida beach. Lord knows I am going to need the rest. And I figure I can keep a close eye on the likes of you and Wanka.

But don’t expect to be converting me to some Gator fan. Bringing my Ga Bulldogs T shirt with me. 🙂

Thanks for the sunrise picture. Gives me something to look forward to. Best, Farmboy

And that dopey/dollar keeps climbing.

http://finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=BONDS&p=d1

I guess the global gov’t wants to keep helping all other nations export, with a weaker currency, and to hell with the USA for now, as we get hammered with a stronger cheaper imports currency.

When the USA economy gets weaker or weak enough, TPTB will rotate this trend. Its like TPTB is a farmer and waters various parts of the farm as needed. Or a dog breeder taking the fat pups away from the teats and stick a skinny pup in its place.

Good Morning

Thanks for the coffee Lady Bug ! ( Floridagold, I think you got it right. ) 🙂

Wanka, since you spent so much time under the water, I would figure you would be the last man not to appreciate the beginning and endings of each day. Beautiful pics from your back porch.  But I think Aurum has us both with the gold lining on those clouds.

Backing off the pain killer today. One of these days I am going to learn another of life’s lessons. (yes, I am a slow learner).  trying to keep up with, outwork some 20 somethings, well….it just aint in the cards anymore. Course, I wont admit it, or let them know any better. Aint ego and pride something else? 🙂

Just had to vent some pent up feelings last evening. Seems these days everywhere I look for the most part all I see is corruption, greed, bad things happening to good folks, and the bad folks just stealing everyone’s money and future while living the High life in the White House or Wall St. Kinda gets to me every so often. And feeling like there is little if anything I can do to change things.

Wanka, got any sunrise pictures this morning? Sunsets was last night. (just thought I would let you know….)

Best, Farmboy ( who insists on writing checks his body cant cash….) 🙂

Morning Oasis – excellent open letter sent to Merkel from U.S. intel veterans about Ukraine

Posted by Buygold @ 8:46 on September 2, 2014

snip:

“That same day, we warned President Bush that our former colleague analysts were “increasingly distressed at the politicization of intelligence” and told him flatly, “Powell’s presentation does not come close” to justifying war. We urged Mr. Bush to “widen the discussion … beyond the circle of those advisers clearly bent on a war for which we see no compelling reason and from which we believe the unintended consequences are likely to be catastrophic.”

Consider Iraq today. Worse than catastrophic. Although President Vladimir Putin has until now showed considerable reserve on the conflict in the Ukraine, it behooves us to remember that Russia, too, can “shock and awe.” In our view, if there is the slightest chance of that kind of thing eventually happening to Europe because of Ukraine, sober-minded leaders need to think this through very carefully.

If the photos that NATO and the US have released represent the best available “proof” of an invasion from Russia, our suspicions increase that a major effort is under way to fortify arguments for the NATO summit to approve actions that Russia is sure to regard as provocative. Caveat emptor is an expression with which you are no doubt familiar. Suffice it to add that one should be very cautious regarding what Mr. Rasmussen, or even Secretary of State John Kerry, are peddling.”

It’s Obvious that Russia wants to take over the area and uses pro Russians as a excuse when he can simply invite them back if they don’t like freedom and would rather be chasing a carrot on a stick.

It seems to me allowing this as well as be headings is just getting the fuel they need. A sort of psychology played on the people . If anything they should of took action to prevent it but guessing there was nothing in it for them. Read that special forces could of stopped the beheading of the news reporter but Obama just as in Stevens dragged his feet. How either side of these people can sleep at night is beyond me.

Your government and mine to a lesser degree are partially responsible for these slaughters. The least we can do is relay our outrage to our representatives and to those we know. Of course its a lot easier to put it out of our mind by focusing on the latest football game or soap opera. I imagine its a hell of a lot worse for those on the recieving end of bombs than for me to be flamed by you!

Gee whiz. I’m on the backside of 60…
