THere were very few Dr.s available  most were drafted ..   DR’s told us how to treat  ourselves !  I learned something about medicine even at 7 years old.

WE learned to use SALT ,Boric acid, IODINE ,Peroxide to treat ourselves .Other than that Penecillin was what you used when all else  failed…

The DR made house calls for $3.00 and $5.00 if you needed a Penicillion shot.POLIO was a major worry until the SALK vaccine later on.

Its the American EXCEPTION bullshit that does it.Those DR,s that treat these Ebola Patient need to be isolated themselves and not allowed to leave that facility for months after contact.   The bedsheets need to be burned along with their bodies when they die.!   Dr EGO is very dangerious to all of us.!

Only a military mentality can be trusted to make decisions effecting crap like that ,emotions are useless. Do gooders are dangerous to themselves in those conditions.I  think I make my point.    That is definitly not a POLITICAL  ARENA !

The DR that delivered my two grand kids 25 years ago here in Virginia .He thouhgt he was the smartest and he was very smart ,but he promised a women whose husband had aids that that he could separate the aids virus from the sperm and she could get pregnant with almost no risk ..Well it didn’t work and he lost his licence after delivering thousands of babys safely.He got to thinking he was God like he was so good at what he did ..Then he got a wake up call to reality .He had to leave the State  for 5 years to start over in another state where they gave him another chance  because of his past record.

That old EGO will get you in Trouble !  Brilliant Doctor ! Why take unnessary RISK   .I make my living mostly from Wall st and Im RISK AVERSE and nobody ‘s gonna die if I make a mistake .

RISK MANAGEMENT is the MOST valuable SKILL !   WHY, WHY when you have other choices take the Deadliest one !   Only take the Risky one when there are NO other choices…..

I have a Doctor Friend who died last week ,one of the smartest guys I knew ..worth 100 million ..

He thought he knew better than tried and proven procedures .He had a wire inserted to his heart  that acted on certain nerves to stabilize arythmia.

Did it at UVA hospital .He told the physician he was going on vacation to Greece ,the attending Physician told him NOT to GO.If he got an infection it could kill him.He went anyway ! He thought he was the smartest physician he knew .He left for Greece and sure enough he got an infection and had a Heart attack.

Dead at 73 ..what a waste ,a brilliant mind …Stupid decision….

Sometimes I will draw a trendline and then see many days months or years later they still have resonance with price. Thats a great example.  In my netdania account I will often find price stopping at a trendline and wonder:where the heck did that come from?”  (have to go back in time to find out) They not only work in the short timeframe but also the longer time frames, some much more important than others for obvious reasons. Government workers involved in cleaning out an old storage room made a shocking find, six glass vials of freeze-dried smallpox virus, sealed with melted glass and stored away and forgotten in a cardboard box.
Previously, it had been believed that the only remaining stockpiles of smallpox virus were in highly secure laboratories at the CDC in Atlanta and at a like facility in Moscow, Russia.
This makes the first time that “unaccounted-for smallpox has been discovered,” but it is the “second incident in which a government health agency appeared to have mishandled a highly dangerous germ,” referencing that safety violation at the CDC wherein anthrax exposure could have occurred to scores of employees.
The smallpox vials were found in a building at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and has been used by the Food and Drug Administration since 1972, although the vials may have been stored there since the 1950s. No records have been found to indicate when the vials were stored there, no one has been infected, and no smallpox contamination was found in the building.
However, smallpox can remain deadly even after being freeze-dried, although it usually must be kept cold to maintain its virulence. These vials were stored for many years at room temperature.
In the meantime, we learn that “workers at a federal health site were not immediately notified” when the vials were found.
One anonymous scientist had this to say: “I think the responsible thing to do would have been to inform us without us having to find out through the media.”
True, that would have seemed the decent thing to do, but this is government we’re talking about. An NIH spokeswoman said the decision was made not to alert employees about the discovery because the vials posed no threat and had already been secured.
Frankly, we can’t blame the employees for being pissed, because we have to ask, if there had been a threat, would they have then told the employees?
We doubt it, judging from past history. Three years ago, “an outbreak of a deadly disease agent that has no known cure occurred at an NIH clinical center. That incident was not revealed for some months.” After that incident, the government promised “in the future to more quickly alert state and local officials if another dangerous outbreak occurs even if it did not pose a clear public health risk.” So much for that empty promise.
The vials are undergoing “up to two weeks of testing to establish whether they are dead,” then they will be destroyed. In the meantime, the CDC notified the World Health Organization about the vials and invited them to participate in the investigation. If viable smallpox is found, WHO will be invited to “witness the destruction of these smallpox materials, as has been the precedent for other cases where smallpox samples have been found outside of the two official repositories.”
Naturally, we can’t help but wonder why they don’t save a lot of time and money and just go ahead and destroy them, but that would not be correct government procedure, which exists to enhance the spending of money.
Well, we think this finding just blows all the arguing over whether or not to destroy those remaining samples right out of the water. If we can make a finding like this here in America, what do you think they might find in warehouses in Russia or the United Kingdom? Or in Iran? Or in Pakistan?

Since Ebola isn’t common here I haven’t studied it much. I don’t know if it thrives in a normal PH or high or low PH meaning whether your treatment would help or make it worse. However bleach probably kills it but the PH level in you body being more prone or not I don’t know yet. If it starts here best to do some serious DD on it.

The problem there is many aren’t educated in the invisible killers. Someone can get sick with it and they won’t take measures to protect the rest of the family. I remember years ago many years that they were having a hospital worker suck up blood samples in a straw believe or or not and of course they got sick. I think it was about that time in OBGYN they were having the nurses suction babies with straws ” their new idea or some idiot and was the time 1980s guess what AIDS WAS RAMPID. the straws weren’t straight but looped like the fun stars for kids now and that was supposed to protect them.  Maybe that’s the same idea they had going on over there.

Anyho they could be spreading it cuz they don’t know their infected could be working in food service hotels or even traveling and not know they have it. If there ever was a outbreak don’t by fresh veg or anything that could be contaminated airborne or by touch and N95 mask when out and serous hand washing both alcohol and soap water. Also shoes take them off before walking in a house to be careful,

3 market warning signs predict 20% stock tumble

After a selloff this past week dragged the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA -0.42% into negative territory for the year, it’s worth noting that all three are flashing today.

The signals are excessive levels of bullish enthusiasm; significant overvaluation, based on measures like price/earnings ratios; and extreme divergences in the performances of different market sectors.

They have gone off in unison six times since 1970, according to Hayes Martin, president of Market Extremes , an investment consulting firm in New York whose research focus is major market turning points.

The S&P 500’s SPX -0.29% average subsequent decline on those earlier occasions was 38%, with the smallest drop at 22%. A bear market is considered a selloff of at least 20%, with bull markets defined as rallies of at least 20%.

In fact, no bear market has occurred without these three signs flashing at the same time. Once they do, the average length of time to the beginning of a decline is about one month, according to Martin.

It’s hard for me to think of deflation when the printing presses have been running full tilt. That chart could turn around quickly if some of that “money” starts chasing commodities on account of loss of faith in paper money.

That was my first thought as to ‘why’ they would want to bring those two infected americans back to this country.  If either of them survives, they would be a potential source of antibodies which could be used to make a vaccine.
