Longs got crushed when he withdrew the liquidity and shorts got crushed after 9/11 when he flooded the markets with it again.

That’s why it’s always so funny to me to hear the pundits talk about the economy as if it matters to the markets. It might have mattered back in the 30’s or even in the 70’s but once we went off the gold standard the only thing that has ever mattered is liquidity. A lesson I wish I had learned prior to 2000.

Very difficult to call a top here. The Fed seems more than happy to provide liquidity whenever needed. We don’t need to look any further than the Repo markets for evidence.

Anywho — the similarities with 2000 are numerous and real — but this bubble is much bigger and could continue to go beyond the year 2000 NASDAQ analog because the bankers can’t stop printing like they did back then. If you remember, Greenspan flooded the system with liquidity due to the Y2K scare but backed off in January because he knew the bigger the bubble the bigger the payback.

Of course stocks could indeed top at NASDAQ 10,000 if the analog below has any predictive value — and based on the way gold stocks are acting right now we could also see a repeat of the liquidity event that took them down 25% in 2000.

IMHO, the only thing that will derail the SM is if it looks like Trump will lose the election.

Course all the polls have Trump losing to whatever Demonrat wins, but that of course is B.S. and the SM knows it.

I guess I’d have to ask if you are you seeing similarities in the SM between 2000 and now?

I don’t remember if the SM was continually making new highs in 2000 or not.

Anyhoo, point taken. It appears it’s going to take much higher metal prices to get these shares moving, because as you say, the metals are “buoyant” – exactly – like a buoy floating on the ocean, not really going anywhere.

Then, as you say, if we see much higher metal prices and a big SM correction, there’s no guarantee we’ll see higher pm share prices. I have a bit of a hard time with the liquidity argument in this sector given how tiny it is, but we’ve seen this movie before.

Aguila, I don’t know what to say except that you may have an odd immune system.  From personal experience I have stopped a flu outbreak in myself and one other friend… literally overnight… with a single strong dose… around 10 drops if I recall correctly.   It worked well for me and I would do it again.  The colon cancer scare is not legitimate, In My Opinion.

There were two times I maxed out on mms and finally gave up and went to the doc.

One time I got a blood infection in my lower leg crawling around in a crawl space without kneepads.  Just a little cut on the knee through my bluejeans.  Amped up my MMS dose as far as possible and after a week got black veins in my lower leg so went in for massive antibiotics which quickly solved the problem.  I was doing everything possible to avoid going to the doc.  High 1 gram plus vitamin C, vitamin D, minerals, you name it, MMS, good living, lots of sleep.  Didn’t work.

The second time I got some sort of flu.  Fever up to 100+ MMS to the max, would feel better, kept taking MMS ok back to work for 1/2 day, lots of vitamin C, time to crash, fever back next day.  For two weeks I kept on taking mms doing everything I could possibly think of to get better with massive MMS included but kept going through the cycle of sickness and fever.  Finally went to the doc an got massive antibiotics and got better.

I still keep a stash of MMS but don’t have much faith in it anymore because I really did take the maximum dose for the maximum amount of time more than once to no avail.

It is great for disinfecting swimming pools however.

That’s not so good about MMS. I haven’t watched the video yet so I’ll just say it’s certainly not something you’d want to do on a regular basis!

If you google MMS and colorectal cancer there are quite a few testimonials from people who think it’s helped them with their cancers. Hard to know what to believe. Having watched the video I’d think twice before taking it now.

I’ve never heard of people taking it as an enema before.

I have experimented with that stuff on myself (mms) so it is a revelation to hear another side. Yikes, was considering trying some more. I think maybe better consider it a lot longer.

During 2000 gold was buoyant while the stocks declined 25% after the broads peaked in March.

This price action should not be surprising.

Just wait until stocks start falling…and liquidity becomes an issue.

Some gold bugs might need to pull hair out.

My son in laws brother works for Google.
He had many years of college like 7 learning different things in computers but dropped out for a job as he was very good with them knows more systems than Gates and went from there to google. You wouldn’t believe the perks they have.
Not everyone can do computers though, theirs a limit.
Too bad he lives in another state. I bet they can even find out how the cabal in the market are communicating but are doing more complicated things. Luckily he could send virus protection to my grandson his nephews gaming computer I got him for Christmas. That’s a perk cuz their pricy although got a good deal. They were surprised I did good at picking it out being computer challenged. They figured they’d have to trade it in but said it was perfect for his age anyway for speed and graphics. I just looked up what was needed made a list having little idea what it meant and looked for those that had those features.
