This incoming planet was midway in size between small Mars and large Earth. When it had a close encounter with Mars, it sucked the water and atmosphere to it’s gravitationally larger self. Then the intruder continued on to interact with Earth, where a lot of that water and atmosphere was pulled in to Earth… hence the great floods worldwide. The intruding planet passed Earth possibly more than once, with it finally settling in to orbit the Sun. We know that planet today as Venus. This was why the ancient Mayans built observatories and tracked Venus’ orbit. It had caused havoc in the past, and they wanted to know if it was coming back.
The gravitational interaction as venus came past earth would alter the pole axis and rotation, of course.
The scars of water shaped landforms on Mars are undeniable. While NASA claims it was millions of years ago, the landforms scars are too fresh and sharply visible. There are erosive dust storms on Mars. Landforms will wear down in ‘millions of years’ of sandblasting. The truth is… Mars could well have been habitable only 10,000 years ago.l
