I am in complete agreement with GATA. On the surface one would think that this latest development is PM positive. Just the opposite. The PM ETFs (especially GLD) were created specifically to help control the dollar price of PHYSICAL PMs.
If the World Gold Council was looking for legitimate PM ETFs they would be recommending the Sprott funds, or perhaps CEF or OUNZ…not GLD
