How much a mexican needs to live depends on lifestyle just like here. You can earn little and live in the ghetto or want better. Sometime want is one thing but enough good paying jobs is another. We have a lot of skilled and talented people ourselves were losing and with it most likely not around to teach the next generation and one reason being the owners or management.

Point is NOT how much that is in pesos for them but in dollars. A thousand employees is 30K an hr vs 11K an hour in Mexico. That’s about 2/3 savings.  Add cost to lease a building here vs there or if owned taxes, maintance,  utilities, OBAMA CARE, causing insurance premiums to rise even before it got started one for greed two for worry a lot more people who now don’t have to pay deductables are gonna be seeing doctors which is good for some especially working people and parents because if your sick you can’t work while now those paying and prices going up three fold won’t or drop then how much Gov is eating into their profits at the end of the day.

As far as agriculture yes it will hurt Mexico but will also hurt American farmers. I have little pity for those horrific industrial farms and the inhumane way they treat their animals. They will probably afford it but the mom and pop might be a issue with them. Also will it drive prices up? Personally when it’s agricultural or services or business, accounting, fixing whatever, there should be exemptions as long as foreign is not outbidding because of lower currency value.

I didn’t know they had calculators in 62 lol but wasn’t very old then either.. Point again yes we’re should keep our jobs here but companies need to sell abroad too. As far as being competitive more services or business coming out more competitive. Like the example of someone who posted Aussies invented a HIV medication could be made for a few dollars. Every time it’s announced minimum wage is increased the buzzards are on the side lines waiting to raise their prices. That includes rent, housing, utilities, taxes, insurance, so no one really sees those raises except for a brief time so the buzzards don’t look obvious. Those on higher salarys see a loss because they don’t automaticall get raises along with it less there a insider or Ceo.
