South Africa gold companies face massive lung disease suit

Hundreds of thousands of workers are suing 32 mining companies, including some of the world’s leading gold producers in South Africa’s high court.

The lawsuit first filed in 2012 resumed on Monday and seeks class action status and compensation and medical care for migrant and South African workers that have acquired silicosis, tuberculosis and other respiratory illnesses working in the country’s underground gold mines over decades.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s parliament voted Tuesday to support implementing a landmark nuclear deal struck with world powers despite hard-line attempts to derail the bill, suggesting the historic accord will be carried out.

The bill will be reviewed by Iran’s 12-member Guardian Council, a group of senior clerics who could return it to lawmakers for further discussion. However, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has the final say on key policies, has said it is up to the 290-seat parliament to approve or reject the deal.

Signaling the nuclear deal’s likely success, a spokesman for moderate President Hassan Rouhani’s administration welcomed the parliament’s vote and called it a “historic decision.”

Have heard of dentists characterized as “glorified car mechanics” 🙂

I changed Dentists when the new guy x rayed it and said he couldent find anything wrong ..gave me some amoxycilliin that did nothing .

Asked me to report back in 10 days with results of amoxy treatment.Charged$112.00 for xray and exam…I gave my credit card ..

Went back and said the throbbing is very diminished but not gone so I decided to wait on any decision .He said fine and there was “NO CHARGE ” for reporting back ; both the dentist and account manager said we dont charge for that and I said “thank you “I would be back if something develops since it was still unclear whats going on….Well  …. weeks later I got a bill in the mail saying “WE reconcidered ” …and enclosed a bill for $40.00  !

Im thinkin  ..WTF is that all about  ?  I replied to the bill reminding them what they said and heard no more from them..

Well the throbbing came back and I RECONCIDERED just like they did and decided to go elsewhere ..I could no longer trust their word and Im not stupid!

I dont do business like that.!  I searched around again after rejecting another one I settled on one that offered discounts to cash payers ..A family of 4 Dentists .SHE took a new xray and immediately saw a broken filling explained my options of Root Canal or extraction .I said extraction because I had 3 failed Canals done 25 years ago. She said ok its your choice she prepared and as soon as she started wiggling the tooh she said “look at that ! to her assistant  this tooth is cracked down the middle and wasent visable on xray…She pulled it out and explained the risks in pulling one out sometimes a piece is left behind and its best not to dig further as it it might effect the sinus .Fortunately for me it came out in two nice pieces ..nothing left behind..A clean break..When all was done she turned to me and said with a smile “you made the right decision rejecting root canal”…that was yesterday  Feelin much better today since it finally became clear what the problem was.and I got rid of that A -HOLE that “reconcidered” ..BTW the new Dentist charge was $230 which I gladly paid …xray included…

WikiLeaks: US Government Plotted To Assassinate Bolivian President

Cables leaked by U.S. Army whistleblower Chelsea Manning reveal an apparent plot by the U.S. government to assassinate Bolivian President Evo Morales and overthrow his administration.

The cables in question were published in August in “The WikiLeaks Files: The World According to US Empire,” a book in which multiple journalists along with Julian Assange analyze the contents of the treasure trove of cables Manning provided to WikiLeaks in 2010.

The book devotes a section to what “The WikiLeaks Files” contributors Alexander Main and Dan Beeton call “the day-to-day mechanics of Washington’s political intervention in Latin America.”

According to the cables, the plot to orchestrate a coup or carry out an assassination against Morales came after years of resistance by the Morales government to the United States’ Latin American agenda.

TeleSUR, a Latin American TV network, reported last week that the Bolivian government is continuing a formal investigation into the allegations, despite denials by U.S. government officials:

“In a strongly worded statement the U.S. Embassy in Bolivia said, ‘The government of the United States was not involved in any conspiracy, attempt to overthrow the government of Bolivia or assassinate President Morales. This kind of unfounded allegations does not contribute to improving bilateral relations.’”

I guess it’s easy for the professor to make that argument right now and for the last several years.

Most people here in the US can’t get their heads around sound money in a changing world, so I think we have to believe that when the USD takes its’ final breath the professor will be lost in the crowd wondering what hit him and how you had such keen foresight.

I have a friend that’s a professor at CU and he said were all fools for investing in Gold. He says that a majority of world economist have proven time and time again that goldbugs are fools. So I hope people like this get railroaded hard. He deserves a cardboard box house

When will they see that Obamas war on Syria by supporting terrorists to over throw Assad who is legally elected by his country is Illegal as well as the debt he is leaving us, the horrific crimes against humanity and the resulting invasion of uncivilized opportunists that call themselves refugees. Where is the charges of these crimes? Instead they are worrying about Billarys they call her now emails.
