Loading ...I changed Dentists when the new guy x rayed it and said he couldent find anything wrong ..gave me some amoxycilliin that did nothing .
Asked me to report back in 10 days with results of amoxy treatment.Charged$112.00 for xray and exam…I gave my credit card ..
Went back and said the throbbing is very diminished but not gone so I decided to wait on any decision .He said fine and there was “NO CHARGE ” for reporting back ; both the dentist and account manager said we dont charge for that and I said “thank you “I would be back if something develops since it was still unclear whats going on….Well …. weeks later I got a bill in the mail saying “WE reconcidered ” …and enclosed a bill for $40.00 !
Im thinkin ..WTF is that all about ? I replied to the bill reminding them what they said and heard no more from them..
Well the throbbing came back and I RECONCIDERED just like they did and decided to go elsewhere ..I could no longer trust their word and Im not stupid!
I dont do business like that.! I searched around again after rejecting another one I settled on one that offered discounts to cash payers ..A family of 4 Dentists .SHE took a new xray and immediately saw a broken filling explained my options of Root Canal or extraction .I said extraction because I had 3 failed Canals done 25 years ago. She said ok its your choice she prepared and as soon as she started wiggling the tooh she said “look at that ! to her assistant this tooth is cracked down the middle and wasent visable on xray…She pulled it out and explained the risks in pulling one out sometimes a piece is left behind and its best not to dig further as it it might effect the sinus .Fortunately for me it came out in two nice pieces ..nothing left behind..A clean break..When all was done she turned to me and said with a smile “you made the right decision rejecting root canal”…that was yesterday Feelin much better today since it finally became clear what the problem was.and I got rid of that A -HOLE that “reconcidered” ..BTW the new Dentist charge was $230 which I gladly paid …xray included…
