Obama was unable to avoid their entanglements as well, he and Hillary took us to Libya and Syria.
The PNAC goal was always to destabilize govt’s in the Middle East using American force, because if they’re fighting each other, they’re not fighting Israel.
Remains to be seen what happens with Iran but under Trump hopefully relations with Russia will get a lot better.
