I think we all know taking guns won’t stop killing people. If they can’t get one they’ll use something else. A gun is a equalizer. You wouldn’t want a bunch of people intending to kill you and your family barge into your house holding weapons and wish you had a gun. On the other end more diligence should be made for these same people to not have guns.
Its more than just personal safety.
The constitution says threats both foreign and domestic. What do dictators do before they kill their on people? Remove their ability to defend themselves. The people leaving your protection to the Gov are making a big mistake. Would you want that same crazy governor protecting your safety lol
They actually think they’re the only ones worthy or armed protection.
Can you imagine what a hah day it would be for all the criminals out there if they knew your home was unarmed. Home invasions would be everywhere.
Australia is dealing with that with Somali gangs and we have them here too but the second amendment is making them think twice about entering homes.

FWIW…

Well, it looks as if the media “promised violence” never occurred in Virginia today.

Twitter video feeds all day featured blacks, gays, whites, all together as Americans,

all in favor of our Constitution, especially the 2nd Amendment.

“Gays don’t get bashed when they have guns”

“Gun rights are civil rights”

Videos of groups picking up the post-rally litter.

None of which will reach tonight’s newscasts, I am sure.

Lets Create A Common Sense Test For All Gov’t Employees and Elected Officials

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 17:07 on January 20, 2020

Quiz Questions:
1 Will gun control stop or inhibit crimes with guns?
2 Is banning larger capacity magazines good? And for what?
3 Is it possible to physically or mechanically stop people from killing other people?

Hey all, help me out on this. Add some questions. Any topic.

Ps I wouldn’t put it past the lefties for making threatening calls and blaming it on them. I heard ANTIFA was mobilizing any you know what they do to go but maybe they got out numbered and outgunned lol

Virgins needs to watch their states legislators. If they had constitutional legislation they would have moved to impeach that rogue lost his mind Gov by now and most likely held up by the Supreme Court for violating the constitution. So where are they and who are they?? Heard their elections are slanted. They had s chance to get in a republican. Where he was a constitutional republic I know but know Demos are anything but.

Platinum Group Metals (PLG) is up almost 36 per cent today

Posted by Warren @ 14:44 on January 20, 2020

I bought a little some time ago to play the snap back when platinum gets ahead of gold again as is usual. Maybe it is starting now; wonder if palladium is helping to pull it up?

Edit:  whoops, looks like that was last week on Thursday, didn’t notice it is not today, seeing you are closed. Oh well, I’ll take it anyway.

Yes, it is intentional. Unfortunately the Republicans/2nd Ammendment people all have jobs and families.
I suppose if a civil war could be fought on the weekends only, the globalists could get one going pretty quickly. ?

Until people have nothing to lose, there will be no war.

Total TV News Blackout On Gun Rights Rally,Demonstration In Virginia

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 14:00 on January 20, 2020

You can bet your ass TPTB will put it on TV if it gets violent.Virginia has been a most friendly gun state historically. So we have to be suspicious about “credible evidence” and “rampant” violence threats. “Armed violence” bla bla bla. If violence does erupt you can bet your ass it was stealthy promoted or caused by some anti gun trouble makers. Like demonstrators at a trump rally.

I googled and found plenty of print news.

parts

Thousands of people from across the country are expected to attend the demonstration demanding state Democrats drop a push for comprehensive gun control in the commonwealth.

If they can come for your guns in Virginia, they can come for them in West Virginia,” demonstrator Annette Parker told Fox News, noting that she drove six hours to get to the event.

Yet in a symbolic sign of defiance, more than 100 municipalities in Virginia have designated themselves as a safe haven or sanctuary for the Second Amendment. Lawmakers and authorities in those areas have said they will refuse to enforce new gun control laws the Virginia legislature passes.

But the president of the Virginia Citizens Defense League – the nonprofit organizer of the rally – tells Fox News that it’s not the pro-gun groups that are stoking fear.

“It’s the Democrats,” Philip Van Cleave said. “It’s almost like they want something to happen. It sounds crazy, but they keep doing it and you have to start wondering if that’s intentional.”

More:

Dick Heller, whose landmark lawsuit a decade ago toppled the District of Columbia’s gun ban, kicked things off by referencing the gun sanctuary movement in Virginia.

“Democrats in the state are demonstrating … unadulterated power without authority,” Pratt said. “No one listening to my voice should never, ever vote for the party of gun control!”

Thousands of people packed the streets. The sea of gun-toting, camouflage-wearing humanity was so thick people could not move. “It’s a reminder to our politicians that government is by the people and for the people,” “Ninety-nine point nine percent of the people are peaceful,” White said.

@amals re your 12:23 re Water Company Stocks I Mentioned

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:47 on January 20, 2020

I stumbled on that group by accident. And reported it that day. My only point was an obvious financial news blackout on them. I don’t own any yet. What brought my attention? There is a privately owned water company in a small section of town near by, maybe 5000? people served.

Too many complaints of water cost bills. News in paper, The company wants to sell the section to another foreign company if I remember right, so the town butted in and THEY want to buy it. So I looked up the water company and found it was on the stock market based in Canada I think.

Ticker AWK on Yahoo showed “People Also Watch” on right side and set up 1 year chart and looked at each one, and posted the tickers of the ones with steady looking up trends. Plus water is generally cheap all my life. And if you know me, I’m thinking cheap may be another reversal. That’s how I make picks. Instinct. Why bother with research and fundamentals when we see an up trending chart. Why would it go down just because I bought it? 🙂

I can see why most the votes are for Kansas City. They have a awesome passer think he’s better than the 49ers although both teams are good. Californians are planing super bowel parties already.

Aufever,
Thanks for the scores. I was able to turn on my phone to anywhere cable and what I saw here and there with Packers was frustrating.
There was no one screening their catchers who’d get pounced on right away and the defense esp in the beginning couldn’t keep their eye on the ball. SF had better plays to get through.

I’ve been thinking about water stocks for quite a while, but haven’t investigated enough.  Are there any particular pros or cons about any of the ones you listed?  Any particular favorites of yours?  Do you actually own any of them?  TIA.

Chief’s vs. 49er’s

I took the Chiefs in our Oasis poll but I don’t know, 49er’s look awful good. Should be a great game.

Great offense against a great defense.
