The first thing that comes into my mind is that they buy physical so they have actual physical to dump when they need / want to crush the price.

…and it’s not just the Amazon ‘Alexa’ that records everything. Voice recognition is not nearly as perfect as people believe. I found out that Apple’s ‘SIRI’ on the iPhone actually relays spoken information to a human interpreter to issue commands. Faster and more reliable than pure machine-recognition that would eat up processor time.
When I read the disclosure that SIRI may relay information, I chose to not use it.

A case involving a murder in Arkansas just helped the public learn that companies like Amazon often retain recordings of people’s conversations through devices like Amazon Echo — and that these recordings are stored in servers that may later be subject to law enforcement investigations. Depending on how the case shapes up, it could set a legal precedent that would open up government access to similar smart devices, and even force companies to keep these recordings in storage for future investigations.
The first warrant naming this specific device was tied to a Bentonville, Arkansas, murder that happened in November 2015. The official document asked the company to release “any recordings between November 21 and November 22, 2015.” The Amazon Echo device in question belongs to James Andrew Bates, the suspect facing a first-degree murder charge associated with the death of his friend, Victor Collins. Collins was allegedly strangled and drowned in Bates’ hot tub.

After 7 weeks down a bounce was almost inevitable, so in short too early to tell.
Next few weeks are key, as PM’s may well have a serious bottom in here, action has been good for an early third wave. Lows must hold and ideally more upside quickly. Huri back above 200 would be good….an unch or better close tdy, will give large Bullish Reversal bar on Monthly charts !!!!! Typical action would back fill some of the bar, at some point next month, then up fast.
Bonds have bottomed ending 30 year b in bear/bull, that is serious for SM…..SM has not topped yet, but I think we are in Blow off stage, ie we will top soon…but could be miles up yet.
Dollar no serious sign of Top yet….but in area that some see as a Top area.
My extreme cynic says, did Bathouse knock SM and bid Au, to make his Russian crisis more serious…hope not, but wouldn’t put anything past him……Gotta love Vlad’s put down, especially inviting the Kids over for new Years eve in the Kremlin……….Bathouse must be going ape…. .
