I think I shied away from that one because of their location … Eritrea? … but I must confess that I don’t know much about the situation there so it may be a just delightful place to be a miner.

You’ve bought it so you must know more … tell us what you like about it.

when they put a ‘Bounty’ on those doing the mugging. I play a great drunken tourista  who is begging to be robbed.  I get to keep whatever the muggers have on em, money, drugs, guns, and Brazil pays me a ‘finders fee’ for capturing the mugger.

Deutsche Bank Provides “Smoking Gun” Proof Of Massive Rigging And Fraud In The Silver Market

Posted by ipso facto @ 9:30 on December 8, 2016

Back in April, when we first reported that Deutsche Bank had agreed to settle allegations it had rigged the silver market in exchange for $38 million, we revealed something stunning: “in a curious twist, the settlement letter revealed that the former members of the manipulation cartel have turned on each other”, and that Deutsche Bank would provide docments implicating other precious metals riggers. To wit: “In addition to valuable monetary consideration, Deutsche Bank has also agreed to provide cooperation to plaintiffs, including the production of instant messages, and other electronic communications, as part of the settlement. In Plaintiff’s estimation, the cooperation to be provided by Deutsche Bank will substantially assist Plaintiffs in the prosecution of their claims against the non-settling defendants.”

Overnight we finally got a glimpse into what this “production” contained, and according to documents filed by the plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit, what Deutsche Bank provided as part of its settlement was nothing short of “smoking gun” proof that UBS Group AG, HSBC Holdings Plc, Bank of Nova Scotia and other firms rigged the silver market. The allegation, as Bloomberg first noted, came in a filing Wednesday in a Manhattan federal court lawsuit filed in 2014 by individuals and entities that bought or sold futures contracts.

In the document records surrendered by Deutsche Bank and presented below, traders and submitters were captured coordinating trades in advance of a daily phone call, manipulating the spot market for silver, conspiring to fix the spread on silver offered to customers and using illegal strategies to rig prices.

“Plaintiffs are now able to plead with direct, ‘smoking gun’ evidence,’ including secret electronic chats involving silver traders and submitters across a number of financial institutions, a multi-year, well-coordinated and wide-ranging conspiracy to rig the prices,” the plaintiffs said in their filing.

Dipped my toes into a new one, NSU, primarily because they offered a 5% divided. Acting kinda of strange, but slowly working its way up. Do you have any information on this one? Seems like it is fighting an uphill fight of late.

Thanks, Farmboy

Rio Proposal: Tax Tourists to Help Them When They Are Mugged

RIO DE JANEIRO — The mayor-elect of Rio de Janeiro is promoting a new idea to bolster tourism in his crime-plagued city: levying a new tax on tourists, then using the proceeds to reimburse visitors who are mugged.

The mayor-elect, Marcelo Crivella, a right-wing evangelical Christian gospel singer who was elected in October, floated his call for action this week at a luncheon with business leaders. Mr. Crivella, who will take office on Jan. 1, said his “bold proposal” could be funded by assessing a new tax on airplane tickets bought by tourists.

“Rio de Janeiro cannot continue treating its tourists as if they were an afterthought,” Mr. Crivella, 59, told the audience, emphasizing the need to “shatter” Rio’s “negative image.”

Ororeef, Good Advice On Taxes

Lets book the profits for next year when the rates will supposedly be lower. Not much of a factor for me since I trade in a 401 account. But good advice. Liked your statement, “if you owned a business you would be building inventory…”. Exactly !

Lowering My Standards

Posted by Farmboy @ 9:12 on December 8, 2016

Normally, in the past year or so if the Vix dropped bellow 12 it was a good indictor to short the Dow. I did not take the bait yesterday, which is a good thing because the Dow exploded up 300 pts. The times, they are a changing, sort of, I suspect this rally will run to years end. The world’s Central Banksters are all singing from the same page, Print like hell. Yhe weakest currencies will die first. ( I’m thinking India here), Next up, is the Euro. My stomach is rumbling, I feel a purge from the gut up coming in the paper.

mood hating everybody. The folks I hate are on a short list I have you know. Democrats, Liberals, Snowflakes, Most of the Media, All of Obama’s appointees and also his non elected Czars, Gold smashing Banksters, Those folks too confused to know what bathroom they are suppose to use, Pelosi and Harry Reid. But the one drawing my most earnest attention this morning is the buffoon who drives around in the subdivision in his little electric car inspecting everyone’s property. This month, he felt it necessary to tell me, in lieu of some penalty, that the numbers on my mailbox where faded. What the Hell !! The numbers are painted in GOLD, and gold is suppressed by the Banksters.

Mmmmmm…..Coffee to soothe the savage soul,

Want to watch India as their fearless idiot does away with their paper currency. Creative bunch those ancient traders of old, lets see if they quickly switch the paper for things more tangible, things that hold value. Commodities and gold come to mind. They will find a work around. Of that I am most certain. Perhaps a learning opportunity for the rest of us?

A… question about Aluminum v. Aluminium

Posted by NEMO @ 6:44 on December 8, 2016

When and why did you all drop, the “i” in aluminium? Was it only to be special? (love you in any case!!)  Or was it to gain a fraction of a second when you said the word? Or save printing, when printing?… Or was it just an extra revolution against Old England ?

The ignorant Swede,

NEMO
