Why, of All People, Is Henry Kissinger the Voice of Reason on Syria?
You know things are pretty far gone when one of the most notorious warmongerers is the voice of restraint in Syria.
War criminal Henry Kissinger, who has been involved in escalating numerous crises in other countries for decades now, is actually managing to sound like the voice of rational thought and compromise over Syria.
“The destruction of ISIS is more urgent than the overthrow of Bashar Assad,” he wrote in the Wall Street Journal on Friday. “The current inconclusive U.S. military effort risks serving as a recruitment vehicle for ISIS as having stood up to American might.”
No one, other than the insane warhawks running the show at NATO, want to see a full-on war with Russia… not even Henry Kissinger apparently.
“The U.S. is now opposed to, or at odds in some way or another with, all parties in the region,” Kissinger warns.
Meanwhile, Senator John McCain and his ilk who seek a wider war just keep beating this “we’ve got to train more moderate rebels” drum. At a recent NATO press conference in Brussels, General Keane warned that it is Russia who is starting a proxy war with the U.S., and called again for us to train more “moderate rebels,” even though we are being told the half-a-billion-dollar program only netted what, four or five guys?
Even Obama is backtracking now, claiming he never thought it was a good idea from the beginning (even though he continued to play his part asking Congress for more and more funding on the program he was supposedly always skeptical of).
The real truth is, as Putin so eloquently points out, there are no moderate rebels.

Russia’s Alrosa, the world’s top diamond producer by output in carats, added to the increasing gloominess in the industry Wednesday by revealing it was able to sell only 42% of the precious stones it mined in the quarter ending in September.
The rough-diamond miner extracted about 11.6 million carats in Q3, or 20% more than in the same period last year. However, it sold merely 4.9 million carats in the period, according to the quarterly results published today.
Iran’s top leader endorses landmark nuclear deal

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s supreme leader on Wednesday endorsed a landmark nuclear deal reached with world powers, but warned the government to be vigilant, saying the United States cannot be trusted.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has the final say on all state matters, endorsed the deal in a letter to moderate President Hassan Rouhani that was read on state TV. Until now he had declined to publicly approve or reject the deal while expressing support for Iran’s negotiators.
The agreement reached in July with the U.S., Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany would curb Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of crippling international sanctions.

Good morning, another day another morning of misleading global news and market figures. How long can this continue? Frankly, I am mystified, that the carousel has continuing spinning this long. I can only suggest it will continue until it stops and stops it will. The real line in the sand, no pun intended, is resources…they are both tangible and being consumed at a rate which cannot and will not continue at this given insane managed rate.
Gold and silver, are historical trusted paths to protect one’s tangible wealth. I am walking on this side of the fence. The fence of created digital, frankly imaginary, corrupted fabricate wealth is going to end badly. When the fence falls, all those that have become dependent on the government entitlement programs will be wave …of very angry hungry wolves…..no longer sheep. They knows this and hence ….
