Thanks to both sides of the disagreement for  creating and maintaining both sites. I met a few of you at one of the tent gatherings and have followed kitco and GE since they were created in 1995/1996 but rarely post.

The dispute seems more like a misunderstanding.  I paid a lot for an expensive  education in the form of a quasi con by a guy in a photo in a previous post. He seemed like a decent guy.  That was not a misunderstanding. This current dispute seems to be one

I never knew when we started the Rambus Site what was going to happen

And would anybody be interested in what some yahoo hick in Arkansas has to say about the PM Markets

I had no Idea it would become so popular and would consume so much of my time

I didn’t realize I needed permission from anybody to follow an interest in learning more about technical

analysis..excuse my ignorance

For a long time I handled both Forums

But the Chartology Forum got busier and the Goldtent Forum was in good hands

So I drifted away

I don’t think I was ever clandestine about what I was doing

I used to Post Rambus Free stuff he sent me here every day before he went to a pay site

and even after he went to a pay site..I made sure the tent got a lot of his pay per view posts

in the public format..unfortunately the bearish calls were greeted with less than enthusiasm

I am still shocked that with all the hundreds of Goldtent Posters who saw his calls from 2008 and 20012

for caution in the PMs…. that so few tenters joined the site

not 5% of the members are from Goldtent

Ironically I would say about 80% are disenchanted goldbugs however

Like you and I and most here… they believed strongly in the manipulation theory…and they still

held on long thru all the carnage

But like one fellow just said at the Chartology Forum..IF we were so sure of the omnipresent manipulation

why play long all the time

Anyhow in hindsight the speech you wrote for me would have been perfect had I realized what I was getting into

I own both Funds,among Royalties and  individual stocks .

I rode out the 2 year Downturn mostly among the Royalties and Tocqueville Fund ..Quality was the only way to do it ..Thier rebound was Fast since June.

How about this coming from you to tenters a few years back BEFORE starting Chartology?

Dear Tenters,

I have decided that I would like to be more involved with and develop the Rambus Chartology site. I really believe in what Rambus is doing and AuDept and myself would like to be involved with, and develop, a PAID site with Rambus. Initially in doing so we would like to share bandwidth with the Goldtent servers. We realize that this bandwidth has been paid for by posters during tent-a-thons over the past several years. We intend to pay our fair share as our proposed site grows. The tents Webmaster (AuDept) believes that this is the most efficient way for us to get up and running.

I wanted to let all tenters know this UP FRONT. I likely will be less involved in day to day activities with Goldtent but I assure you that we are still with you in spirit.

Please let me know if you support our endeavor, if not I want to hear that as well.

May have been an attempted assassination directed at Putin who was flying back from Brazil .His plane was very near the Malay plane.The Ukrainians may have botched the attempt.Another video shows CHAFF falling from the sky which a commercial plane has no need for.THe  missile may have missed its target and hit the Malaysian plane by mistake.

That’s a very close guess for when to drink that double if you’re dyslexic. There, untangle that one. (grin)

True but as far as patients go not by my hand. As of last night and now instead of being home I’m with a few pts on my own time helping out because they require a certain expertise. I didn’t say pay me or I’ll abandon you, I’ll profit or you’ll die.

What happened to the pictures of the tent meetings and the ones if Irish?  Those memories I’m sure to many who attended or not are priceless.

This is a cutout of my monthly gold chart that runs from the gold low of $253.20 to an eventual high of $21,000. The next pause will be $2,300 as indicated on the chart. I’ll probably step off the train for a short break there, but that’s not the end of this run up by a long shot. Another interesting factor is that $2,300 is in the exact center of my full chart of this gold bull. That is, on a log chart it is the exact center from end to end and from top to bottom. So there is some homework for those who wish to do the work. Get your positions and hang on for the ride. Gotta be in it to win it!! :o)
