amals – I know how you feel. None of what has happened in the last year gone how I’d hoped, even in these times.

The constant, organized criticism of President Trump is feeding and prolonging the empty hopes of the terrorists in power in Iran.

Wow. I have a number of reactions, none of them good.
Newscum no where to be found as usual.
50 thousand residents in Garden Grove, parts of Buena Park and Anaheim. Very near Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm and near Huntington Beach. The beach has the advantage of the wind blowing inland so should be safer but 50k people suddenly displaced suddenly and wheres Newscum.
Chemical plant crack with fear of explosion they have been working hard on but fear if one goes it could set off the others.
Could be. The Romans used those tactics against walled cities. They’d essentially encircle they city and camp out, not allowing anything in or out. Part of their plan included waiting until the city ran out of food and water and they’d just starve them out. In 70 A.D. when they destroyed Jerusalem they had been encamped around the city for nearly two years before they went in and decimated the temple.
That’s why Babylon was such a fortress. In addition to the massive walls, the river ran through the city. In fact, when Babylon fell, it went without a fight and the people didn’t know for 3 days that the Persians had captured the city. Cyrus’ general came up with the brilliant plan of damming upriver so that when the river was low enough, the Persian army simply walked in under the wall. Now, the king of Babylon, Belshazzar wasn’t exactly on the ball like his old man Nebuchadnezzar. He was a bit of a partier and was caught unawares. 🙂
Just to be clear, I’m no fan of Iran. The mullahs are a bunch of inbred nutjobs.
No doubt whatever course Trump takes he’ll be criticized by the nutbars on the left. It looks like he’s trying to put together the Abraham Accords where the Saudi’s and other countries sign on as well. Be interesting to see if he pulls it off. Not sure how that ends the war but…
When they say “Peace and Safety”……you know the rest.
There is another way to look at what is going on over Iran…Trump is enacting a medieval siege on Iran, particularly of their economy. Bessant has basically closed them down financially, no money is going in or out…The IRGC is powerful and popular with some due to the amount they are paid/earn, rather than from religious beliefs ….they can run anything and are utterly corrupt, but as of now no-one is earning, troops are not being paid, nor are any of the mercenaries.
The Iranians too are playing for time in the hope they can string things towards the Mid Terms, when they think Trump will panic if it is not resolved etc…..
In our Modern world and with the MSM/Dems anti anything Trump does, they are demanding immediate results….just like if he sends troops in, they will scream he should be patient and negotiate……
