Volume is starting to ease in the ETF’s and shares. This is where the permanent shorts start to go to work.
Hopefully we have enough strength to keep them at bay.

Despite the dollar off the lows. On track for good volume in the shares I watch.

Nice surprise after a rough couple weeks.

Is it another chance to “sell the rip” or can things stick for a change.

I think we need to see some steady volume. Be nice if we could rally for a while.

These are the days you can’t miss in pm land.

I just think Trump has become a master at playing the markets. Somehow, he’s managed to keep these markets inflated at a time when they really should be tanking. I’m surprised the SM rallies so much anymore, I don’t know how many times this has happened. It makes it hard to chart things out, we could be back down this much tomorrow with a little bad news.

Truth is getting much harder to come by these days.

Yeah they keep saying that, a deals reached then Iran denies it and now I see ipsos post they denied it again. All there doing is drawing them closer to China.  And now I hear were sending millions to Taliban every week!!?? What the heck is that about? We need a new party, a constitutional one.

I guess we’ll get a sense of what the buying looks like as the day goes on. It’s going to have to be more significant than it’s been over the last couple of weeks.

So far they’ve taken over a buck off the top of silver before the Crimex opens.

White House Nearing Preliminary Deal With Iran To End The War

Axios reports that the White House is nearing a preliminary deal with Iran to end the war. This is based on a 14-point, one-page memorandum that creates a 30-day negotiating window for a broader nuclear and Strait of Hormuz deal and follows President Trump’s announcement last night of “great progress” and a “complete and final” deal nearing.

“The U.S. expects Iranian responses on several key points in the next 48 hours.

Nothing has been agreed yet, but sources said this was the closest the parties had been to an agreement since the war began,” Axios wrote in the report.

Here are the key points:

Iran would commit to a moratorium on uranium enrichment. The duration is still under negotiation, with the U.S. pushing for 20 years, Iran offering five, and sources suggesting 12 to 15 years may be the likely spot.

Iran would also pledge not to seek nuclear weapons, accept enhanced inspections, potentially halt underground nuclear facility operations, and possibly remove highly enriched uranium from the country.

The U.S. would gradually lift sanctions and release billions of dollars in frozen Iranian funds.

Shipping restrictions through the Hormuz chokepoint and the U.S. naval blockade would be gradually lifted during the 30-day talks. If negotiations fail, U.S. forces could restore the blockade or resume military action.

The mkts sure like what is happening…….

Yeah, I’ve heard it creates a hyped up demand for dollars.

Whatever the case, oil is falling like a rock, down 9% now. Dollar getting pummeled, and the 10 yr. down 7 bips.

All of that creating quite a squeeze for pm’s. Gold up $140, silver $4.50. Shares soaring at the moment.

They can go ahead and close the pm market right here before the Crimex gets their filthy hands on things.

Oil and ..dollar people will run to in war likely to drop gold is a inverse can rise.  Still can depend on what the Fed and oil does.

PM fix is $85.65

I expect silver will close about $10 below. Still a pretty good day though. We’ll see.

Not complaining, but I surely don’t understand why a potential peace deal would cause pm’s to soar or the dollar to fall and bonds to rally. I’d think it would be the exact opposite. PM’s are outperforming everything at the moment including the SM and Bitcoin.

Doesn’t seem right, but glad to see it. Somehow, I expect there’s something else going on.

The challenge will be to actually hold the gains all day. Crazy good at the moment though, we need it.  🙂
