Loading ...Yesterday I had some pain lower abdomen that wouldent go away,so I asked my son to take me to hospital ..he did,we got into the waiting room full of patients ,ok I wait fair enough…BUT I waited 12 hours in a freezing air conditioned room.After 12 hours they said we are waiting for a room to be available ..they took me in to run some tests .I repeatedly asked for some pain meds.They said no until all the tests are run and each test blood work ,cat scan,xrays, so finally they said I have a kidney stone..After a few more hours waiting ..they put me in a room that I thought was for me..but no it was a attached room to the waiting room but it had a bed ,but NO toilet …They ran some more tests every 2 hours and finally gave me something for pain after 18 hours…Then they found me a room ,I guess they were waiting for someone to die ,before a room was available..Then after 18 hours in freezing cold waiting room they announced they had a room ..two hours later they wheeled me into a room that was to be shared with another person,ok so thats nots so bad I thought…aFter 1 minute in that room I realized the other patient had been operated on and was HARD of HEARING..So the 6 visitors he had were screaming at him to be heard including his male nurse who was even louder than the rest.I complained to my nurse 3-4 times and she acknowledged what the problem was finally they wouldent answer the buzzer and they got tired of me buzzing them so they ignored me. I got the other guys nurse to get my nurse .Her solution was to bring ME a set of EAR PLUGS so I could tolerate this outrageous situation. I said no you better find me another room .My nurse said we understand the problem .,.,we can hear them down at the nurses station and we will find you another room as soon as one is available. All my tests came back .I had passed the kidney stone and all we better ..after endless tests 3 blood samples cat scans et al…I finally called my son to get me outta here I coulden stand the screaming going on.. here…I said if you dont find me another room Im leaving..The nurse said you cant leave the floor until security is called and you DR releases you .I said get the DR.meantime my nurse suggested she could get me a chair to sit in in the hall way so I woulden have to listed to the screaming from 6 people talking to a deaf man…The Dr arrived and spent 40 minutes explaining what could happen if I was discharged .I said discharge me . It was like a Fucking Zoo the hospital was short of staff I was told,Its not my problem I told them…I was waiting for a room 18 hours in a freezing lobby to get a room I had to get 3 blankets to stop shivvering.,then thy gave me that one….They all said YOU have to understand we are short oh help ..No I dont Im outta here…Afer 24 hours of NO water or food …
