Recent dramatic events at COMEX futures exchange, however, increase my level of confidence in my current forecast. As I reported last month, we saw a 729% increase in the demand for delivery of physical gold at COMEX during off-month of January 2017, year over year. This month (February) was a major delivery month, and there was another 230% increase in the delivery of physical gold bars. The huge increase in gross demand for actual physical gold bars is impressive. However, it is not the amount that was purchased but, rather, who was doing the buying that is the most important factor.
The biggest banks in the western world continued to be the biggest physical gold bar buyers during February. In many cases, their own customers are being called upon to deliver the bars to them. In total, about 18.66 metric tons worth of physical gold bars were delivered on COMEX in February. That compares to 7.99 tons delivered in February 2016. The net increase totals out to be 233% year over year, which is enormous.
HSBC, in particular, was the biggest single buyer this month. HSBC bought just over 10.62 tons worth of physical gold bars. Neither it nor its customers delivered much gold to speak of. As was the case when it made massive purchases in 2015 and 2016, these gold bars are now an asset of the bank.
J.P. Morgan was also one of the huge buyers this month. It didn’t buy quite as many gold bars as it did, last month, but it purchased about 2.4 additional tons. In contrast, J.P. Morgan’s customers were called upon to deliver about 10.95 tons, perhaps part of which went into the bank’s own asset base. As the customers scrounged around to find gold to deliver to the banks, they probably propelled gold prices upward in February

Fed Chair Janet Yellen and her vice chair, Stanley Fischer, both speaking on Friday, appeared to seal the deal for a rate increase at the Fed’s March 14-15 meeting — with Yellen indicating that a hike was coming barring a drastic disappointment in this week’s February jobs report.
All signs are pointing to further healthy job gains in February after a strong 227,000 additions in January. An index of last month’s service-sector activity, released Friday, recorded the fastest expansion in 16 months and a measure of employment also revealed sharper growth, possibly signaling stronger hiring. Meanwhile, initial jobless claims, a gauge of layoffs, have hovered near four decade lows. Economists expect the Labor Department on Friday to report a solid 185,000 job gains. And many economists expect wage growth, which was surprisingly sluggish in January, to rebound to 2.8% annually. With Federal Reserve officials increasingly signaling a rate hike at the Fed’s March 14-15 meeting is likely, it likely would take both weak employment growth and sluggish pay gains to prompt them to seriously consider standing pat.

Years back I did a culture on a non healing wound thaf would of killed her if left unchecked and wasn’t from circulation so guessing a bug. It turned out she had Gentamycin resistant super infection. Gentamycin was a last line antibiotic. Her doctor just looked at me and took off to read the results in disbelief. Luckily there were some meds that showed sensitivity but not much most were resistant. So he chose one and her wound quickly healed

One of my nurse friends told me they found a aortic aneurysm. Without knowing that she’s be lifting patients. Told her I have to see a doc too as she’s always bugging me like we can live forever because I suddenly got asymmetrical non pitting edema in my right lower leg and foot. I’ll have to get checked out for a DVT. Smoking doesn’t help. So if at some point you don’t see me any more Thats why. It hard for them to wrap their head around that because I’m the go to so nothing’s supposed to happen to me. Lol

The image is Rainbow Falls, on the Waianuenue River just upslope of downtown Hilo. The falls is 80 ft. high and just recently a ‘pro’ Kayaker with a helmet cam went over that falls! He was highly experienced and waited until the water level was adequate and went over with no injury. But he said “don’t try this”. The video was exciting, though!
