The dates in red are the important dates (although the other ones I watch too). That’s because the dates in red are where silver and gold cycles converge and are only one week apart. Silver and Gold each have separate cycles but when they come together like that– it usually means a big change in direction (either a bottom, top or the start of the next leg up/down). I know that might sound confusing by itself but we have to use these dates in conjunction with other techniques to try to figure out what’s next.
So for me personally I will be paying close attention to the week of Sept 10, 2018 and then also the last week of the of year. If we get a setup where we dip below sub $1k into those dates and the following week we don’t go lower that will give me good confidence the low may be in. I always wait 1-2 weeks after the benchmark dates to see how things look on the chart. I may miss some of the move by not getting the exact high or low but it’s the safest way to play things.
