Lol on the beds. Next time which hopefully there isn’t anytime soon try to get a air bed or if they have a topper available. Bed sores can happen fast esp with circulation issues or in semi up right position which guessing you were most the time. Those beds made of plastic to make them easier to sterilize but hard on the body plus can cause sweating to some.  If you can’t get either have them put a soft blanket down first then a sheet or too over it. If no blanket at least two sheets.

My youngest grandson just visited the hospital the other night due to baby Samson age three trying to help dad do yard stuff and tried to pick up a cement statue that landed on his foot and split it open. Mom wasn’t to happy. Was a trooper through the whole thing including the stitches. Strong little boy. All and all through work et all a hell week.

I figured out how to get a little girl to talk that doesn’t. Got her a little talking snow man as she likes a  snow man cartoon figure on a movie called Frozen called  Elof or something. This snow man repeats what you say. She signed in ASL  Elof I said no his friend. With in a hour she after recording her frozen movie and others she started singing in it. Couldn’t understand what she was saying as can’t make words yet but the first time in her 10 years she has spoken. So a first step.  Least something good came out of this week.

IPSO—thanks for the Denninger–I agree with him–this comeback in stocks just lulls the shekel to stay the course for a total shearing

THE DOW should end down about 500 today-this bounce just is a set up for the rose-colored glasses crowd to peddle paper to the shekel

The Toughest Trade….

Is to go against the market.

The open today was so extreme and liquidity so poor that it was basically impossible to enter an order and have any reasonable expectation that you’d get a decent fill. For that reason the only wise choice today is to sit it out. A lot of people sold into the spike low and got flat-out murdered — less than an hour later that act looks damn stupid.

However, you will soon have an opportunity to sell the bounce that comes when you get spike-down moves like this. It is unwise to try to get too far in front of that petering out, and if you’ve been long and just watched 10% or more of your account vaporize in names like Netflix and Amazon it will be intoxicating to see your balance creep back toward where it was a few days ago.

It will be very hard to sell into that rip because you won’t be “made whole.” But that still may or may not be the right choice, whole or not, on a cold, stone-faced analysis of the stocks you hold.

Prepare yourself to be coldly analytic now.

This is not a day to trade, it’s a day to go the bar and drink.

In the coming days you will need that cold, analytic view to make a wise decision.

Go find it today, whether it’s a day at the range, a day at the bar, a 10 mile run or a wild night of sex.

This isn’t over folks. In fact you’re just seeing the beginning, even as you watch the DOW come back by 2/3rds of its opening-print loss.

Ukraine Failed Attempt to ‘Break Russia’? Kissinger Warns U.S. “Stop Backing Kiev At All Costs”

Posted by ipso facto @ 13:11 on August 24, 2015

The handling of the Ukrainian conflict, and the second-rate attempt to antagonize Vladimir Putin and paint him as an aggressor has failed, if the terse opinion of one of America’s oldest diplomats is any indication.

Henry Kissinger, now 92 years old, remains one of the staunchest insiders in the smoky room, always a move ahead in the game for New World Order dominance.

During the Nixon administration, it was Secretary of State Henry Kissinger who “opened up” Communist China to American diplomacy.

With escalating tensions between the U.S. and Russia, Kissinger blasted the American handling of the Ukraine situation for “backing Kiev at any cost” and basically antagonizing Putin without keeping focus of “long term order” and instead acting recklessly for short-term interests.

Gartman: “We Should All Be In Survival Mode Today, This Is Not The Time For Courage”

Tyler Durden’s pictureSubmitted by Tyler Durden on 08/24/2015 08:03 -0400

Capital Markets Crude Crude Oil Dennis Gartman Reality

Nothing like some morning humor to diffuse the general feeling of financial apocalypse, which today comes courtesy of the best contrarian market indicator known to man and algo, Dennis Gartman:

WTI CRUDE OIL: We Turned Bullish Too Early! The term structure might have made us shift from being manifestly bearish of crude to being incipiently bullish but we were far too early in doing so in light of the panic in the capital markets globally.
* * *
We were taken out of our long position in crude oil on Friday… thankfully… for the full 3% risk was hit then against both WTI and Brent crude; those not out should be out… now! This is no environment for rank speculation
Some good news for bulls: the long overdue snapback may be imminent.

STOCK PRICES HAVE A LONG WAY TO FALL, WE FEAR!: This is the S&P in monthly terms and now that this first trend line has been broken we fear that the second one drawn here may eventually be put to test over the course of the next several months.
And the punchline:

Finally, we should all be in “survival mode” today; there is no reason to take action of any sort other than to raise liquidity where necessary in order to survive the present chaotic situation. The margin clerks are in control today and they can and will move markets where they wish and in whatever manner they wish. They have only one concern: the survival of their own companies and that must always be remembered. Can the EUR move even higher beyond the ludicrous level to which it has already risen? Yes, of course it can. Should it? No, of course it should not, but that matters not a whit this morning. Survival is all that matters. All else is secondary, even if that means surviving with far less liquidity than one had only mid-week last week.
* * *
This is time for retaining what liquidity we can muster; this is not a time for courage. Get smaller; get liquid and get safe. This is getting ugly and we can only hope it does not get worse.

Wow just in to see it almost hit the major bullish support by about 100 above this morning and wonder if there was short covering at that point or buying. Almost like they just wanted to take it down and get it over with. Don’t know if its over yet we’ll see I guess what happens after tomorrow. I see Armstrong is really focused on this right now. After that long takedown on PMs just don’t feel no pain for them.

If the snapback in the SM helps the PM shares then I’m all for it!
