Londoners Cashing in Flee to Suburbs as Home Rally Wanes
For equity-derivatives broker Andrew Adamson, it was a trade too good to pass up.
In October, he was offered 1,000 pounds ($1,700) per square foot for his London townhouse. Other homes in the area were going for about 30 percent less. Adamson accepted it immediately.
London’s housing market, having outperformed the rest of the U.K. with price gains of more than 50 percent in five years, is cooling as owners like Adamson cash out. They’re leaving the city for less costly suburban and country homes because they expect mortgage rates to rise and new lending rules to damp prices. London estate agents had the largest increase in instructions to sell homes in Britain in June and the biggest drop in people seeking to buy them, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
“Now is the time people are cashing in,” said Adamson, 46, who used the 2 million pounds he raised from the sale to buy a country manor in Hampshire, southern England, for 400,000 pounds less. “I caught it before everybody else started talking about it. As soon as everybody starts talking about it you’ve missed the best deal.”

As Ebola spreads mercilessly across the world, it appears Florida has a problem that sounds just as awful. As CBS reports, Florida health officials are warning beachgoers about a seawater bacterium that can invade cuts and scrapes to cause flesh-eating disease. At least 11 Floridians have contracted Vibrio vulnificus so far this year and two have died, according to the most recent state data.

Betcha Germany wishes it had deposited its tons of Gold with China instead of the U.S. Probably a much better chance of getting it back.

Today, 100 years ago the stock market closed ” until I think December 1914, due to war in Europe. WW1. Thanks to Obama looks like history’s gonna repeat. Guess they would call that the 100 year cycle.
The reason the market closed was because Europe were getting into stocks selling them to redeem gold as dollar was gold backed then. With trouble in Europe they needed something movable and would survive a currency crisis.
However this time as far, they are running to stocks and dollar instead. When our economy turns down it will probably a different story. Think that’s what Armstrong is hinting to.

If you three had enough faith in your business idea you wouldn’t of had to use the tents bandwith in the first place or perhaps Rambus didn’t have enough faith in his trades or execute them to get the money to start his own this all wouldn’t if happened. I remember when you were pumping Rambus site you said you were getting paid nothing for it, but apparently that was not true as you yourself admitted you are and now so that in itself shows a plot against the Tenters. Then in response have the gumption to call some jealous. I’d say that’s kinda a childish response. That’s like saying yeah I used my position on this site even though I don’t make it Audept did and stealing from you are you jealous. You forget something about your placing things on the side bar, it wasn’t you that took the hours of effort the Tenters did to get the info, or picture that you put on the side bar. Some how you appear to want to take sole credit for simply putting their work on the side bar. I think it would take a moral background to understand the error of your ways. It “wasn’t” about the money it was the sell out your grandma for a buck to get it attitude. But hey for some reason in your mind they are not worthy because their stupid enough to trust you or your word that somehow makes you worthy. The question is to whom. Just remember all good things must end someday, then what? Oh yeah you’ll be rich so you won’t care. Funny thing about the rich, even they don’t like getting ripped off. So Maya’s right it’s over.
