PM’s have made some gains from a couple hours ago, silver is leading, up $.75, gold up $12. PM shares firm in the first trades of the day.
Nothing to write home about just yet, but not giving it back either.
Still a ways to go before the Crimex and SM open in the US.
ferret – I agree with that, although both those countries may smell blood in the water in Iran and could be looking at resources. Who knows really, it’s hard to know what the truth is over there – for me anyway.
But a couple of missiles lobbed at the Saudis doesn’t warrant a full scale invasion. Atm Iran seems to be holding all the cards, they don’t need to involve MbS and stasis suits them fine messing up western economies and getting everyone to hate America for trying the FAFO route.

We have reserves but their low because Biden idiotic inflation has was going up every month along with everything else to 7 dollars a carton eggs that his loser handlers used the reserves to bring it down.
But now with this those reserves are even lower. Trump has ramped up the production but the blue states like California driving out refiners and pipelines might be a different story.
Iran might not be doing much better if their oil exports are being obstructed.
If his is the type of war that drags on and on we could be eventually looking beyond 150 oil. Last thing either country needs. But if it does you’ll know what else to invest into.
But if Iraq couldn’t win a land war, and the USA can’t win an aerial and missile war, who’s going to take them on apart from some skirmishes?
The petrodollar should have collapsed by now. Oil should be $150 a barrel. Nearly six months after it started, not a great deal has changed as far as I can see. We keep getting fear of Cushing bottoms thrown around, and in Oz we’re down to 21 days for jet fuel and Diesel, and 26 days for petrol, with probably enough Diesel and petrol on the way to keep us going but no details on jet fuel. Actually, that’s looking pretty grim, three months ago they were all above 30/35 days.
Jeremiah 49 says in the latter times Elam will be scattered to the four winds.
I suspect Turkey and Pakistan could make that happen. If they are the new protectors of the Saudi’s, what does that do to the petrodollar?
So If Iran launches missiles at Saudi Arabia then Turkey and Pakistan are obliged to come in? Both those countries have land borders with Iran.

I wonder if they charged someone with espionage a felony they could be banned from being able to vote or be involved in elections or politics in any form.

They say the Gold Miners lead. Gold has followed. Now it’s Silver to give us that God-like candlestick and soon.
First thought is if hard to be found and mined is good keep it away from the Chinese after reading years ago they were making counterfeit gold bars out of it because it has the near same wt.
Then finding out this morning the innumerable uses for it in tools and manufacturing combined with the other rare earths used all at once is troubling. Over time it’s uses aren’t diminishing but increasing. At what point in the future will these mines get mined out. These aren’t exactly renewable resources.
