Doesn’t sound like Anthropic isn’t meant to take the place of humans but generate income on subscriptions by humans and compete with other tech companies.

Anthropic has not announced an exact public launch date. The maker of Claude confidentially filed registration paperwork for an initial public offering on June 1, 2026, and market watchers expect an official public listing as early as October 2026, pending market conditions

It could be as powerful in certain areas or not but a coincidence this video and probably others like they did with X came out before the IPO. Although I did read before these IPOs that Anthropic was making money but didn’t say how.
