Ron Paul says the gold is there in Fort Knox

Posted by ipso facto @ 21:46 on August 10, 2026

Senator Rand Paul

@SenRandPaul
Yes, the gold is there all (approximately) 147 million ounces. It is impressive, but the real point is what it still teaches in 2026.

In 1971 we severed the dollar from gold. Since then the currency has lost roughly 85% of its value. Prices are higher because the money itself is weaker.

A family making $50,000 with two kids that has not received a 25% raise in the last five years is falling behind.

This is now often called “affordability,” but the the accurate word is inflation.

We run annual deficits of two trillion dollars. The Federal Reserve buys about a third of that debt by creating new money. Every new dollar dilutes the value of the dollars already in people’s pockets. Gold does not expand when Congress spends. Paper does.
That is the difference.

Look how bad it is in Detroit where businesses and car makers had to shut down. It’s not just one but the constant fires due to neglect which also affects wildlife especially the ecosystem and with birthing, slow moving and young animals that can’t escape.  The. Carney goes on vacation? Like the joke of a Mayor did during the fires in Calif. That way they don’t have to answer anything and certainly can’t manage or prepare for anything. That requires a brain. That makes it easy for conspiracy’s to start because people think it must be because they can’t be that incompetent and  useless and still have a job.

I don’t know about those lazers other than they look dangerous. I remember when young school girls days seeing something like that when in Wisconsin. I think we went to Chicago to see it. Near death once came with some memory loss but lazers seemed kinda .dangerously magical or something back then but they’ve been around for awhile.

But what I do suspect doesn’t help especially in dry weather is the chemicals including metals they drop with chem trails over a neglected tender box also causing lets say sparks or lightening not to mention fast moving hot fires.

I agree on all that. The fact it starts on low volume is good not just dependent on news although this war or peace has a affect but doesn’t look like any resolution. As far as the Fed dollar and everything else we pretty much have a perfect storm in our future.

You’re talking about GDX I presume. I didn’t realize it had broken above its 200 day on Friday.

GLD and SLV are still below. Will be interesting to see what happens when they get there.

Really good to see the shares leading.

When our whole Province is being burned to the ground with thousands of homes and communities completely destroyed and lives lost, and  the same has happened and is still happening in many locations under very similar and questionable circumstances, I believe it’s important enough to expose it to light. I’m not good at taking gag orders when things need exposed. If your life is taken, your precious metals mean NOTHING, so which is more/most important?? SNG

Still moving on light volume, but if this the end of the correction and beginning of a new bull phase, I would expect it to increase. Especially if the SM slowly fades into the abyss and the hedge funds see what sector is moving up.

This is tough even for me to complain about. We’re up against the dollar, rates, oil and the SM. I’m not sure when the last time was that I’ve seen that. In the rally that ended 6 months ago, we pretty much went up with the SM.

All of a sudden, it doesn’t seem like pm’s are worried about rates. Maybe this is just an oversold bounce. Who knows?

What is the connection with Wildfires and PM’s, let alone U2’s. Anyone looking at this site, will see that stuff you post and run a mile.

Have not watched yet but interesting title: B.C. wildfires rage as Carney goes on vacation!

Goldielocks@12:41. Here’s another “suspicious” one worth exploring. 34000 lightening strikes across BC. (Wonder whose counting)?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/lighting-strikes-bc-fires-100-9.7277364

Also someone reported and was asking why Lockheed’s U2 spaceplane was flying a pattern back and forth over BC at 60,000 feet, but I can find no info to verify that the U2 has laser/lightening capabilities. I know that the Boing X37B spaceplane (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Boing+X37B&t=brave&ia=web) has those “lightening strike” laser capabilities but can’t verify if it was also in BC airspace when those 34,000 “lightening strikes” occurred.

FWIW but probably just all coincidental and has nothing to do with the fact that BC is burning down from “wildfires”…Wink wink! but WTHDIK? SNG

Besides TA last week this might explain yes that..

Gold and silver are rallying but on low volume.

Iran…Both sides are having their issues over this war so would be nice if they made a peace deal. One of the issues is Iran won’t move on halting nuclear issues for financial relief.

I missed that, one of my grandsons Bday celebration he’s been reminding me  counting down that last few days after I asked him what he wanted and gave me daily options. Football gear or tech stuff.. Luckily they took him to the river kayacking to use up all that energy. I don’t know much about those direct energy gadgets but people who track them said theyre on the gov weapons list. Also that those same city’s were targeted for 15 minute cities.

I liked that video because it made more sense and with actively involved people. The UN apparently still has his hooks like blood sucking parasites in Europe. What good have they ever done any country?

The probes in the metals are now coming to the upside. Drifting down, then a flurry of buying. Exact opposite of what we’ve seen for months, and not tied to anything else that I can see.

Just beautiful to see for a change. Hope it continues. 🆙

Maybe  the early stages of the dollar demise?

No surprise we’d give a little back after the monster days we had last week.

BREAKING: The UK has discovered that the Royal Navy’s new spy drone fleet planned for the Strait of Hormuz and multiple Gulf spy missions against Iran have been secretly transmitting data from the drone’s primary camera to China since March, per The Telegraph.

The £12M K3 Scout multirole uncrewed surface vessel (drone boat) fleet built by Kraken Technology had cameras with Chinese-made components transmitting “heartbeat communications” to an IP address in China, with cameras remaining active even when the drones were switched off.

The compromised cameras were also near highly sensitive meetings between senior UK special forces staff, and preparations for Britain’s Gulf plans against Iran had been conducted on the compromised drones.

The same K3 Scout model has also been purchased by US Special Operations Command.

Brigades of North Korean female workers are arriving in Russia.

They are being employed on assembly lines, in garment factories and kitchens, and on farms, with promised wages starting at 480 rubles ($6) per hour.

Human rights activists earlier reported that, from recruitment through their daily lives in Russia, workers from the DPRK are under the tight control of the North Korean government. The DPRK authorities confiscate their documents, restrict their movement and communication, and withhold a portion of their earnings.

Barrick clears way for IPO with Newmont mining truce but shares sink 6% on Q2 earnings miss

Posted by ipso facto @ 8:58 on August 10, 2026

Barrick Mining (B) said Monday it reached an agreement with Newmont (NEM) on their Nevada joint venture, in which Barrick’s Fourmile and Newmont’s Fiberline and Mike projects will contribute to the JV, resolving all outstanding disputes between the partners and allowing Barrick to list its North American assets in New York.

Newmont (NEM) also will make a one-time payment to Barrick (B) of $1.95B, reflecting the additional value of the Fourmile asset, which Barrick has said could produce up to 750K oz/year of gold.

The two mining giants, which already partner on the Nevada Gold Mines venture, had been locked in a dispute as Newmont (NEM) tried to block Barrick’s (B) plans for a separate listing of its North American assets, including the JV.

Nevada Gold Mines provides around half of Barrick’s (B) gold production and profits, but the U.S.-based assets are more highly prized by investors than the company’s mines in Africa.

“Newmont has consented to the IPO and the parties have agreed to expand NGM with the earlyvend-in of our excluded properties, as well as settling all disputes,” said Barrick (B) President and CEO Mark Hill, who will also become CEO of the new company upon separation.
