Where I left off for anyone interested in putting things together globally and how it will affect the ecosystem and food supply by hearing directly from the people there. One person responding to the Peru post said his well went dry like something took his water. And why are Chinese coming to our side with massive fishing boats. One commented that could of had something to do with it but another said even the plankton is going. If we are going to have food shortages I don’t think they’re going to tell us about it ahead of time. Hunting and fishing options may not be that easy either with no fish and forest fires and droughts my limit water to fireman. Farmers might need to know what to prepare for early.

The young woman killed by the gator was from California and worked in Florida.
Turns out her boyfriend did everything to save her and get her to shore. Got her arm loose then the gator grabbed her other arm. 911 did not give instructions of stopping the bleeding. Both arms gone she couldn’t help herself. She bled out before help came. Her boyfriend did everything he knowingly could.
There was a clue they joked about prior to the attack. They saw air bubbles in the water minutes prior to the attack.

Yeah I know where there’s water there could be a gator that’s the problem. 4 attacks with one death in two weeks doesn’t seem rare to a non local lol
Just passing through might be one thing but splashing around might be another. That can attract sharks thinking it’s a dying fish.
They may not hunt you but they could be waiting for you to step or fall in your fare game. They do hunt your pets . Why people walk their dogs next to them then be surprised when they leao out and grab their dog I’ll never know. There’s probably hundreds of avoided attacks.
I wouldn’t want to swim in that green still water that probably full of things like EColi with Ferrets prehistoric giant lizards with big teeth because that’s their territory. Just like we react if they go up to houses why shouldn’t they.
Surfing is another thing. Perhaps they’d be more of a threat if they hunt you.
There’s probably much to learn from those prehistoric creatures. Like fighting bacteria. I do hope they studied there’s so they know what antibiotics to start a bite victim on right away.
What I am surprised is with all those gators around and all the bites they haven’t taught the locals how to drive them off and first aide, pressure points and how to apply a tourniquet correctly. That and perhaps they should each carry a large bandana to use as a pressure bandage or tourniquet if needed and something to twist it with. It might have saved that one young woman’s life recently along with her boyfriend if he would if helped her fight it off.
