Sorry to see Australia head down that road. People just won’t see it until suddenly certain locales in their own country are suddenly subject to Sharia Law. Intolerant and violent towards people who don’t believe exactly what they do. If they didn’t bother people of other creeds and morality then no one would mind them much. But that’s not the case, they are aggressive and often criminals as well.

Any at all coming in is too many.

Because our beloved leader Albanese has decreed that any hatred towards islam is now a criminal offence. Galloping headlong down the European road towards national suicide. Once again, words are bastardised to mean something different – islamophobia literally means ‘fear of islam’, not hatred of islam. But, who cares about meanings, and what does ‘hatred’ mean anyway?

So I figured I’d better start to see what this islam, apparently the religion of peace, is all about, starting by reading the quran. I just started from the beginning, and in book two, The Cow (yes, that is what it is titled), verse 217 says

“They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about fighting in the sacred months. Say, “Fighting during these months is a great sin. But hindering ˹others˺ from the Path of God, rejecting Him, and expelling the worshippers from the Sacred Mosque is ˹a˺ greater ˹sin˺ in the sight of God. For persecution is far worse than killing. And they will not stop fighting you until they turn you away from your faith—if they can. And whoever among you renounces their own faith and dies a disbeliever, their deeds will become void in this life and in the Hereafter. It is they who will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever.”

So it is better to kill, than to be persecuted. Verse 218 says:

“Surely those who have believed, emigrated, and struggled in the Way of God—they can hope for God’s mercy. And God is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Anyway, we’ll see where this journey goes. But here is a fundamental difference – Allah says kill the persecutors, Jesus says, rejoice in persecution for His sake, and bless your enemies. Seems clear so far which is the religion of peace …..

there’s a tropical storm (baby hurricane) off the fl panhandle.  looks like it’s heading for south louisiana and east texas.  normally trop. storms aren’t a big deal, just gusty winds and A LOT OF rain, but texas already has some rivers at/near flood stage.  Buy kayak futures ??

I believe that the answer lies in accepting ‘the will of allah’ in all things . A perfect example is an islamic mother teaching her young son that to die in jihad is a wonderful goal in life . A Christian mother grieves for a son who dies on the battlefield defending his nation . I have had one very negative experience with an islamic individual many years ago . I was approached in southern France by an Algerian who begged me for a little money to help get his wife and children out of Algeria . I dug deep and came up with about $20 ( foolishly ). His islamic street buddies were watching as he thanked me profusely , then shook my right hand with his left hand . A Frenchman saw that and told me to immediately scrub my hand thoroughly. I asked why and he told me to smell my hand . I got it less than a foot from my face and nose and almost puked . Those in that religion eat only with the right hand . Street people wipe after defecating with their left hand . They will not even wash their left hand with their right ‘eating hand’.
I washed my hand several times in succession .

A few months ago the retirement community that I live in switched to optical cable , and my personal Netgear device was not a match . A small cable interface box was provided . Even when I am not using WiFi that box is running very hot to the touch , so raising my electricity cost unless I shut it off (which I now do).
I strongly suspect that that little box ( and all my neighbors’ ) are somehow being used as AI Nodes , tranmitting information from any smart device in our homes . and listening to every sound . every conversation , etc. and monitoring usage of even non-smart appliances via analysis of the RLC signature ( Resistance , Inductance , Capacitance ) of electricity consumption . In my kitchen I have a 40 year old GE refrigerator which has never needed repair but does not meet ‘green’ standards . I can imagine a day when the ‘green police’ come to arrest me and confiscate that appliance .
By posting this , I am sure that someone with ties to DC bureaucracies is downgrading my social score . Call me an obcessive paranoid , I don’t care.

Given the dollar and rates are higher. I suppose after the ridiculous amount of beatings we’ve taken over the last 5 months we were probably due a small break.

While Newscum is extorting oil refineries and companies out of the state with abuse of power not caring if his puppet masters are making him look stupid because he is, I can only wonder where he will get what’s needed next since his two main outsourced suppliers are not able to accommodate him now.

BREAKING: Yemen’s Houthis officially announce a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia, banning all Saudi maritime traffic through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and Red Sea.

Saudi Arabia exports 4.5 million barrels of crude oil per day through the Bab el-Mandeb. Combined with Iran’s full Hormuz sovereign control, Saudi can neither export through Hormuz, nor through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, effectively cutting off all Saudi oil exports as every tanker leaving Saudi ports becomes a target.

A senior Houthi official says it is “unacceptable” for Saudi Arabia to continue exporting oil through the Red Sea while Yemen remains under blockade.
