Loading ...Summer doldrums to summer heat wave. It’s gonna get up to 103 here but weather shows high temps all over the country. Anyone with heart or any significant illness or elders should stay out of it including children. Increase of children being taken out to parks in this can wind up in emergency rooms. Family doctors don’t seem to warn you parents about that or heat exhaustion or heat stroke. I can’t believe my daughter in law did that to my grandson once when the temp was running 104-5 took him to the park at about 2 yrs old. I get a call to go to the ER down town my grandson having a stroke and seizuring. Then I get down there and some foreign nurse was jabbing him over and over and can’t believe I have to take over and put a IV in my own grandson to save him pain and suffering. Then asked how much fluids are you giving him. No answer. I asked her again no answer She didn’t know. A American nurse passing by heard it came in and said how bout 50 cc. I’m fine with that and wanted it documented to track before they transfered him to peds. I hope no.parenf or grandparent has to go through that.
