🇹🇷🇬🇧 At the Ankara summit, Erdogan reportedly handed every NATO leader an engraved REVOLVER with their name on it, plus a box of live ammunition.
PM Starmer revealed the detail on the flight home, but his personalized weapon never made it back to Britain.
British law made importing it illegal, despite Erdogan personally adding a note waiving Türkiye’s export controls.
That note solved the export problem.
It did not solve the part where Starmer was trying to return from a NATO summit with a live-ammo handgun from Erdogan 🤣
