The above means to me, that the minimum wage needs to be $2894 per week’s pay, or $72.35/hour. Or $150,488 per year. That way, young people can move out of their parents’ home, get a job, a new car, get married, buy a house, have kids, and his wife stays home.
My grandfather, unskilled labor, had 8 kids and his wife didn’t work. My father had 5 kids and wife not working. I had two kids and wife not working, so you can see the obvious three generation of decline in wages.
Thanks to gradually importing more than we export since WW II. All the wives started working long ago. So what now?? All the guys need two wives? Or three wives? LOL
Think about how much money you need today to have 8 kids and wife at home. $200,000 a year? That low middle class today. Thats what my grandfather was earning, at about .30 cents an hour?
