Orange special

Chris Marcus has an interesting interview/discussion with Tom Luongo.

They discuss Central Banks, gold, silver, the morass we face.

Tom is somewhat optimistic about the way things could go.

BTW My friend, a nurse and I were talking about Covid at lunch the day or two before she had the viral symptoms she thinks she got visiting someone in the hospital and I said I bet next time they make a pandemic theyll try to make sure you can only get medicine by prescription.

Thanks I’ll keep that in mind. My friend said they gave her a inhaler. She may have been really congested but no mention anything for the congestion. She was afraid she gave it to me when we had lunch together and said she’d call me Thursday the other day. I don’t want to bother her right now but mention it. She will try to stay away from steroids as she battled cancer a few years back and don’t want it to come back. . But either way be the Hyadrastis canadensis or steroids they’re not meant for long term due to side effects and why it’s best to take one or two pillules vs the 5 limit three times a day. People have to know though you don’t give OTC cough suppressants which productive coughs and congestion. That’s stopping the mechanism of the body in short telling you to cough it out of your lungs.and make things worse but stop the congestion.

Look into antivirals. You mentioned Fauci.  So is it new around the same time the cough came out? 😔 If they’re not making money off it less paid by a government it’s probably not them but who knows.

Re Bug

If the Sinus gets real bad, which mine did, but I have a weakness for it and the area we live in is v bad for sinus…they have some new products that clear it up v fast, without taking anti biotics…..Fluticasone Propianate…nasal drops…..

Posted by goldielocks @ 18:16 on May 8, 2024

100 day cough that wouldn’t be easy for people not to spread because most people can’t say inside that long. Thanks for letting me know. Now I really don’t want it. I’ll let you know if it drags on with my friend or granddaughter. Both saw each other but at a distance. My friend went and saw a doctor after he self test was negative for COVID in a urgent care she’s never had yet as retired when it hit and stayed pretty much inside. Covid with Ivermectin would of been easier on her.

Agree with everything you said. But what is the difference between now and a few weeks ago?

Where have those buyers gone and are they waiting in the weeds for something???

As you have clearly pointed out, nothing has changed and the picture for owning PM’s gets brighter with each passing day.

This feels a lot like summer doldrums

They just park themselves on the sell button selling 10 shares at a time, same with futures contracts – maybe one at a time until they finally bring the entire sector down.

Sideways sucks. We’ve lived with these promising opens for years now and they almost always die out.

The scum has truly destroyed an entire sector of the market.

Re New bug….it’s been in Europe for a good few months….known as the 100 day cough……It’s a brute…as u say horrible cough and then gets the sinus’s going crazy, making the cough worse…….it does go …but it sits around for weeks…..would not surpise me if it is not a lab job, from Fauci and Co….

There’s a virus going around that causes sinus congestion sore throat chronic cough etc. Just a heads up.    Luckily haven’t gotten it. I’ve given out the homeopath and hard to spell     Hyadrastis canadensis 30 That works fast for the congestion which stops the cough when it gets to the lungs that can then prevent pneumonia. Just a heads up plus the normal vitamins to go with it similar as those for COVID..Just a heads up cuz one friend says she’s miserable with it. Step granddaughter said her chest is sore from coughing. I started her on the homeopathic and sent her dad for Gatorade because congestion went to her stomach too nauseated her and won’t eat. Just a heads up.

Politics, when people like me start becoming informed and concerned when I’d rather leave politics and national security to the ones who get paid for it, that’s pretty bad. Now even kids take notice.

I was shocked to learn what Kissinger thought about the military. A bunch of dumb something or other to do his bidding.  Actually we got a few psychos like that.

I liked Anthony Bordaine, it was sad when I heard he killed himself.

@goldilocks re Kissinger

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 12:38 on May 8, 2024

I never knew anything about him, other than he was a smooth talker with an accent. He died recently at 100 and thats where I read about him. Lots of people hated him. A dumb foreigner in charge of the USA. Hes responsible imo for the decline of the USA after 1970. Just google and you’ll find all kinds of negative stuff like:

Anthony Bourdain’s old quote calling Henry Kissinger ‘murderous scumbag’ goes viral

Following the news of former US diplomat Henry Kissinger‘s passing on Wednesday at the age of 100, social and political analysts have passionately discussed Kissinger’s life and career. Kissinger’s legacy in international politics has drawn praise and criticism in equal measure.

Although many hail his contribution to global affairs, others denounce him and call hm a “war criminal” for carpet bombing Cambodia in the midst of the Vietnam War in a covert operation. The war is estimated to have left at least 150,000 civilians dead.

In his 2001 book, “A Cook’s Tour,” Bourdain vividly articulated his feelings, writing, “Once you’ve been to Cambodia, you’ll never stop wanting to beat Henry Kissinger to death with your bare hands.”

Kissinger died? He was one of those you’d think would live forever. He was a heavy weight and didn’t realize he was fallible until he compromised south vietnam and destined them to be taken over by the north. Then leaned worse.

Gold bars are selling like hot cakes in Korea’s convenience stores and vending machines

The country’s largest convenience store chain, CU, has been collaborating with the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) to offer customers mini gold bars — and they’re selling like hot cakes.

Consumers in Asia’s largest economy, China, have has also been buying gold, with the collecting of 1 gram small beans in glass jars becoming a trend among the country’s youth. China is also leading consumer demand for bullion, with the country overtaking India in 2023 to become the world’s largest buyer of gold jewelry.

Separately, in the U.S. last year, retail warehouse giant Costco became a popular one-stop shop for one ounce gold bars priced at close to $1,900.

I heard on Fox this morning talking about how unfair it was for letting girls in the boy scouts but not let boys in the girl scouts. That’s true, it isn’t fair.
Like girls fighting back on the morons that put men in women sports, men need to fight back putting girls in the boy scouts. If girls like the activities the boys get, include them in the girl scouts.

It’s natural for younger boys to want their own space and exclude girls from activities or things they talk about even to adulthood and at certain younger ages even be annoying to girls on occasion as part of learning how to get their attention, sometimes the hard way.
So what are these idiots going to call these boys just being boys going through normal stages in life, misogynistic?
Being a tomboy myself when younger I’m quite aware that girls that can reach outside the labeling pink and blue what each sex is interested in or capable of, their still not boys.
Some play they might do is more fun with boys but in their absence or their imagination and energy or competitiveness girls don’t have to their extent in these activities without them it’s boring.
I remember me and a couple friends negotiated a combat fort the boys made to have our time in it at that somewhat segregated age. It didn’t take to long before we had curtains up and doll furniture in it. Then boys didn’t want it as a fort anymore. They could be tomboys but there still not boys. I realized young that wasn’t fair to them.
So no it’s not fair to them and even more so today with the so called woke culture trying to stupidly feminize them. It’s crossing lines.

Henry Kissinger was a global – and deeply flawed – foreign policy heavyweight

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:16 on May 8, 2024

Foreign Born Immigrant?  In Charge of the USA. Huh???

Kissinger was born into a Jewish family in Germany, and fled to the US in 1938 after the Nazis seized power. He rose to one of the highest offices in the US government, and became the first person to serve as both secretary of state and national security adviser.

Kissinger advised a dozen US presidents, from Richard Nixon to Joe Biden. For advocates of realpolitik – a quintessentially pragmatic, utilitarian approach to foreign affairs – Kissinger was both author and master.

Kissinger had no qualms backing the military dictatorship behind Indonesia’s invasion of East Timor in the 1970s. He supported the CIA in overthrowing president Salvador Allende of Chile in 1970, advocated sustained bombing in areas of North Vietnam, and encouraged the wiretapping of journalists critical of his Vietnam policy. He prioritised security over human rights, and commercial control over self-determination.

None of this was surprising. Kissinger’s entire approach to foreign policy was unsentimental at best, and brutish at worst. Peace, and the power to conclude a peace, could only be hewn coarsely from the unforgiving fibre of state relations, he believed.

To his critics, Kissinger’s actions in Vietnam, Chile, Indonesia and beyond significantly challenged his legacy of negotiation and diplomacy, and – in the eyes of some – were tantamount to war crimes.

His passion for foreign affairs never dimmed, commenting on the October 7 Hamas attack just a few weeks before his death.

For every one of Kissinger’s brilliant moves, there was a bungling countermove.

Comment: After he died there was a big story in the local paper. In it, Kissinger said he regretted promoting and causing the mixing of too many different races and cultures.

They don’t seem to understand that people living in a parallel society is not diversity. If they’re only letting them in for work not because they want to become a German citizen, Italian, French, English, or where ever they’re invited in they can’t expect them to assimilate if that’s not their purpose for being there. Some people think that people in these poor countries are less intelligent because of their culture like mentioned women are safe and higher crime and want to interbreed them so they can have a society that’s less intelligent than them to compete with  to control as their serfs. For one they’re going to be resistant to order and going to backfire on them and two with better living standards and education and opportunities for the next generations they might not be as less cerebral as they thought and also back fire on them. I seen that here. They’d bring in one group for less wages, some didn’t even take a generation because they spoke English and started demanding better wages. So then they’d bring in another to replace them. Can’t fix stupid.

I don’t me almost funny at the result to others especially innocent children or running someone over with a tank because your dead to them then call everything a accident.

What I mean is they think or want you to think they are doing you a favor. They have apparently got some people believing it.

If part of this like Europe Maddog pointed out could be to interfere with our elections which things are heated up to the point where even minorities are pizzed at the demos probably won’t work anyways I do hope this time Trump keeps his son in law Jarred or what ever his name is out of politics. There’s enough trouble with the lobbyists. He’s one of them who developed that narcissist trait. Usually comes from some traumatic event in childhood so perhaps from parent to parent thing. But what I also see is displacement. Like when someone’s really angry at someone but can’t do anything about it or their gone like the Nazis and war so they look for someone else to take it out on. They lose control of that anger and if they become narcissist they have no empathy and in retrospect loose touch with reality,  their common sense and sense of common decency with it. In their minds they say you buygold, you will now be this or that to suit what ever need they have, and the person you really are is no longer relevant to them or care.  If you don’t follow their imagined card they made up of you there will be two options for them. One your no longer useful and throw you away or, deny they did anything wrong because narcissist can do no wrong, blameshift, seek revenge, sabotage,  and attack you with lies, insults and trying to gain moral or forced superiority over you. When that don’t work it’s back to your dead to them. It’s almost funny.
