goldielocks @ 16:02…I’d discard them! or if not that, take them to a shooting range and fire a test shot or two, making sure you find where the bullets hit the target. Here’s what once happened to me.

Moose hunting in BC I spotted a bull moose browsing along a creek about 200 yards away; an easy shot for my scoped 30:06 Remington Semi-Auto Game Master. I squeezed off the shot which did not sound or feel right (too muffled), and that moose didn’t even raise his head but just kept on browsing. I started to squeeze off the next shot but that’s when sanity kicked in and my Higher Power said “DON’T DO IT”, so I didn’t. Turned out that bullet was lodged 1/2 way down the barrel of the rifle, and the next shot would have killed me, since the rifle barrel would have blown up in my face.

If you think they got wet I’d throw them out, or do as I suggested in the heading and carefully test a couple of them to be sure they are okay.
