Loading ...idaho is beautibul in the summer, but the winters are horrific. when you get to venice, take a little trip to el jobean (~20 mi southeast) there used to be an old abandoned railroad bridge there. when i was in high school, we would go down from winter haven and pick washtubs of oysters off the pilings. the best oysters i have ever tasted.
i wonder if the old railroad pilings are still there. if they are, maybe the oysters are too.
i just checked google earth. it looks like the remains of the railroad are still there. just to the north/west of the highway bridge.
