Just more mismamagement of Gov even if they want to solve a problem they are incapable. They fail to look at the living standards of Africans. Lack of education unprepared for changing times. Lack of things we take for granted.. Or did.. Clean water, nutrition, healthcare. Better paying jobs and proper housing so miners are not seperated from their family. Where is the money going?

Zimbabwe 2.0: South Africa President Proposes Land “Expropriation Without Compensation”

We agree on the imperative to accelerate land redistribution and land reform. Where it is necessary and unavoidable this may include expropriation without compensation. The Constitution provides for legislative changes to be effected in the democratic process.” – South Africa president Jacob Zuma said on Wednesday.

Guatemalan Lower Court Issues Ruling On Tahoe’s Mining License

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 5, 2017 /CNW/ — Tahoe Resources Inc. (TSX: THO, NYSE: TAHO) (“Tahoe” or the “Company”) today reported that the Company has learned that the Supreme Court of Guatemala has issued a provisional decision in respect of an action brought by the anti-mining organization, CALAS, against Guatemala’s Ministry of Energy and Mines (“MEM”). The action alleges that MEM violated the Xinca Indigenous people’s right of consultation in advance of granting the Escobal mining license to Tahoe’s Guatemalan subsidiary, Minera San Rafael. The provisional decision is in respect of a request by CALAS for an order to temporarily suspend the license to operate the Escobal mine until the action is fully heard. The Company understands that no Xinca representative or community is currently participating in the CALAS lawsuit against MEM.

Zimbabwe 2.0: South Africa President Proposes Land “Expropriation Without Compensation”

With every passing day the formerly booming nation of South Africa is getting ever closer to the formerly banana republic of Zimbabwe.

On Wednesday, South Africa’s ruling African National Congress proposed at its 5th annual national policy conference that in addition to potentially nationalizing the country’s central bank, that land expropriation without compensation should be allowed where it is “necessary and unavoidable,” President Jacob Zuma said.

Its Looking Like March 2000 All Over Again

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:50 on July 5, 2017

March 2000 NASDAQ 4,500 down to 1,000 2-3 years later. http://www.mrci.com/pdf/ndxi.pdf

March 2000 Gold $250/oz.  http://www.mrci.com/pdf/gc.pdf

If this is March 2000 all over again, (high dow low commodities) and Gold lifts off $1200 instead of $250? It would be pay back time for gold bugs.

Gold Silver Boring, March 2000 All Over Again??

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:36 on July 5, 2017
Are these the most boring PMs market action or what? Also a tease. Or Chinese water torture. One month up, one month back down. I guess the general market shares are the only thing people care about.
It reminds me of the dot com boom near the highs before the March 2000 peak and drop. Nobody cared about any other investments. Stamps coins gold silver etc. All commodities were at the end of a 20 year down trend that started in 1980 and ended in 2001. Remember gold $250?
My son at that time bought from the original owner, a like new 1969 Chevelle SS 396, black on black with only 32,000 miles on it for $15,000. Probably worth over $50,000 these days. All collectible cars were ignored around 1999-2000. Maybe this is March 2000 all over again.

Fickle finger of fate… 🙂

Been awhile since I’ve heard that one.

Sometimes if you listen carefully to the elites they actually tell the truth about what they are going to do. In Yellen’s case, I think she’s given us a head’s up about what’s coming. She certainly has the stock market to provide cover for her now while she’s raising, although I have to think the SM is on whatever autopilot they’ve set the software to for now.

Very little seems real to me anymore, especially the action in all markets.

Don’t know if you got a chance to read this yesterday but while all us common folk are out here ready to kill each other, our elite masters are out partying together. Pretty damn disheartening. KellyAnne Conway especially…

Remember this one? The Flying Ficklle Finger of Fate? I nominate Yellen to receive two of em. She’s that Smart !

Farmboy – Yes sir – she is

Posted by Buygold @ 11:05 on July 5, 2017

She’s doing what she said a couple of years ago she’d have to do. She has to raise rates now so when the crash arrives she has some tools left – i.e. rate cuts and QE.

Look at that Nasdaq go! Another miracle comeback for the SM!

Fed minutes today, employment report Friday. This day and week are over.

Rand Tumbles On Report South Africa Seeks To Nationalize Central Bank

Tyler Durden's picture

The South African rand has tumbled following a report confirming recent speculation that South Africa’s ruling African National Congress will propose that the country’s central bank, the Reserve Bank be nationalized and wholly owned by the state, according to three people familiar with the discussions quoted by Bloomberg.

  • S. AFRICA’S ANC SAID TO PROPOSE CENTRAL BANK BE STATE-OWNED
  • S. AFRICA’S CENTRAL BANK CURRENTLY HAS PRIVATE SHAREHOLDERS
  • S. AFRICA CENTRAL BANK’S SHAREHOLDERS HAVE NO SAY ON POLICY

Bloomberg adds that the proposal which will surely have negative consequences on the country’s financial stability was approved in plenary session of the party’s policy conference taking place in Johannesburg. However, the decision still to be ratified at the ANC electoral conference in December, so nothing is imminent. By way of background, Bloomberg reminds us that the central bank’s currently has about 600 private shareholders who have no say over the setting of monetary policy.

Maya, Thanks for the John Deere Coffee this morning. Might be the only green I see today. 🙂 Went long with JNUG and UPSLV the other day and as I was watching the Fireworks last evening I started to remember last year July 4th’s celebration, and I think I remember them beating the PM’s down the entire week. Might have gotten ahead of myself on that long trade by  few days. Ugh. Memories are great things when you can remember them. OH well, lets see how the rest of this week plays out.

Thought we might get a break last night after that N Korean shot off some fireworks of his own with that ICBM rocket. Gold and Silver both started to climb a little, then came the dump. Grrrr!

Passing the bucket around this morning for anyone wishing to donate. Yep, I think passing the collection plate to raise some funds so we can hire that girlie man Kim to head up the World Gold Council. He at least seems to know how to get a rocket off the ground.

The Grand Illusions of our ages

Posted by Walker @ 7:27 on July 5, 2017

A day to reflect, we all live in a time of leadership decay, illusional money ( electronic money), global wars never ending, truth which is known and cannot be freely shared. Remarkable times. I would suggest, these days will come to an end very unfortunately for most sheep.

Regarding the constant manipulative battle being waged on historical money, this too will end. I personally am shocked it has last so very long but in the same insight, the masters cannot and will not relinquish their controlling  power of existing debt/fiat money fabrication. A dream of all past tyrants, straw to gold, unearned “wealth” stolen by illusion to achieve unlimited powers and global dominance .

I could share more words here but I feel I would be reiterating passed shared knowledge we all know to be true. Just look about you and read…..the organized destruction of our society in the name of Globalism.

In conclusion, I will stay the course in which i believe to be true…..gold and silver…the historical wealth of all past history.

Winedoc, greetings….regarding silver….I believe it will have its time…I am sad it has been so suppressed but this too indicates the desperation of this those controlling these times. They have everything to lose, when these over whelming circumstances come crushing down …..

I sometimes refresh my looted understandings and perseverance…..with a simple moment of running an “old” you tube video of WTC7 free falling….. We know and I known that just cannot happen….without them. hence…I walk on…awaiting.
