Canopy Growth’s move into coffee market gets thumbs up at Echelon

Marijuana stocks have been less than perky of late, but Echelon Wealth Partners analyst Russell Stanley thinks Canopy Growth Corp’s (TSX:WEED) foray into the coffee market is one that underscores its leadership role in the space.

This morning, Canopy announced it had entered into a licensing agreement with Swiss-based hemp company Isodiol International Inc., that will allow Canopy to manufacture and distribute Isodiol “Pot-O-Coffee” and “Pot-O-Tea” marijuana-infused single-serve K-Cup products in Canada and other market.

If he appoints Cohn…then I’m afraid it was all for naught .

Cohn as Fed Head, maybe fake news, in the hope that momentum will build for it to happen.

Where I see Trump’s major failure, is not going after the Clintons…he could as President tie them up in knots, such is their list of crimes. The fact that they are not even the subject of investigations, is a damning indictment US Society. Instead he leaves them untouched and they are creating merry hell for him.

But you will find my bank account empty.  And “Squillionaire Acres”???   C’mon… I already live in Hawaii.  🙂

And how does a Nigerian Prince dictate terms to a Nigerian King?

Ah, well.  I better go back to peddling Kona Coffee… “volcano roasted”.

I am finally getting a little nervous about my boy Trump-the Republicans better get going or it could be a democratic landslide in 2018 & 2020-too horrible to contemplate.

Posted by Richard640 @ 15:11 on July 20, 2017

He never should have said what he did about Sessions.

My most serious concern is along these lines=

Recall, Trump ran his campaign on an anti-Wall Street agenda. “The hedge fund guys didn’t build this country.  These are guys that shift paper around and they get lucky,” he told Face the Nation as a candidate. In a campaign ad, he went directly after Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein, calling him the embodiment of the global elites that “have robbed our working class.”

Since the election, Trump has embraced Wall Street advisors including Cohn, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and several others.

  • President Trump is reportedly considering naming economic advisor Gary Cohn, former president of Goldman Sachs, to head the Federal Reserve.
  • His appointment would make the Fed the third major world central bank currently led by a former top Goldman executive.
  • Cohn would bring market experience to the job, but lacks any real foundation in monetary policy.

Goldman Sachs may be on the verge of consolidating its gradual takeover of global central banking, but there’s so much other stuff going on that hardly anyone is paying attention.

I’m really not sure McCain is a good guy anyways

Posted by eeos @ 12:59 on July 20, 2017

just retire people, you can’t be in politics all your lives. Go home, relax, take care of yourself, enjoy your family. Please go the hell away McCain, I’ve always found you to be spooky and untrustworthy. You’ve done a great “service” to the nation, thank you.

Maybe these surprising sudden up-turns are like the opposite of the sudden down legs were getting that never stopped. A good new up-leg instead of a down leg. Lately it seems like a month up and a month down cycle.

Venezuela’s Maduro, foes head into crucial showdown

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his opponents face a crucial showdown Thursday as the country’s opposition calls the first national strike since 2002 stoppage that failed to topple Maduro’s predecessor Hugo Chavez.

Fifteen years later, Chavez’s socialist party controls vast swathes of the Venezuelan economy, making it harder to bring the country to a halt. Easing the opposition’s task is the fact that much of the economy is already faltering, hamstrung by a plunge in oil prices and years of corruption and mismanagement.

The 24-hour strike is meant to begin at 6 a.m. as an expression of national disapproval of Maduro’s plan to convene a constitutional assembly that would reshape the Venezuelan system to consolidate the ruling party’s power over the few institutions that remain outside its control. The opposition is boycotting a July 30 election to select members of the assembly.

The country’s largest business group, Fedecamaras, has cautiously avoided full endorsement of the strike but its members have told employees that they won’t be punished for coming to work. Fedecamaras played a central role in the months-long 2002-2003 strike that Chavez’s political rivals and opponents in Venezuela’s private business sector orchestrated in an attempt to topple him.

Washington is a MESS! Doubt Trump is going to get any support for his agenda.

Meanwhile, in the PM pit…..?? Banksters Rule! <spit>

Morning Ipso, Maddog

Posted by Buygold @ 7:58 on July 20, 2017

Ipso – yeah looking a little better, I guess it’s about perspective.

Maddog – what doesn’t go up, must go down – or something like that. $1240 was some key level so that must be defended, we’ll probably get through it and it will take another month to get back toward $1300. Then we’ll get crushed back to $1220 in a week. Wash, rinse, repeat…

8.30 am Lnd time…..scum hard at work…pissing away more taxpayer dollars.

Very strange

That Mc Cain was diagnosed with the same kind of brain Cancer as Ted Kennedy and Biden’s son.
