Re Illinois is broke story

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 16:52 on July 1, 2017

I just read the whole thing re link. The whole damn country is broke. What’s with all the financial writers these days that constantly describe all the bad results of “not enough money” all the time?

They describe things that just make us angry, but NEVER EVER tell anybody what happened how and why it happened? Are they just plain dumb?

Have they been sleeping the past 50 years? Or are they restricted or banned from telling the truth, and informing people? They always direct blame in the wrong direction. Bottom line:

The USA hapless consumers have been SPENDING ten times more MONEY on imports  than it receives oselling exports. It’s like tuning up your car but its got a leaky gas tank. Or its like a small leak can sink a big boat.

All tax payer jobs were exported, and all the tax absorber jobs were INCREASED to cover the losses. It means higher taxes, and harder ability to pay them.

Illinois was not at fault for anything. This idiotic country exports $100 worth food fuel aircraft etc all the good stuff, and IMPORTS $1000 worth of crap we don’t really need, and we can make ourselves, like plastic toys, coffee mugs, hand tools. Producing a product is like legal counterfeiting of money. China et al out prints the USA. The USA under prints, and spends it on imports.

The financial writers are as dumb as a stump, or love the imported products they own and drive.

Greensea – Blue Cross

Posted by Maya @ 15:17 on July 1, 2017

Hawaii Medical Service Assn. (HMSA) is the Blue Cross affiliate in Hawaii.  They are the largest medical insurer in the state and are generally very good.  Employers in Hawaii are required to provide health coverage, and HMSA is the largest provider.  I had them when I was employed, and my Obummercare plan now is provided by HMSA.  So they have the largest customer base, and the most experience among the state population in aggregate to provide health insurance.

So of course I looked into their Medicare plans.  Again, there are two tier offerings.  Oahu island only (urban Honolulu) and the neighbor islands are lumped into another plan.   The costs for the neighbor island plans are even higher than the United Healthcare stuff  I was looking at.    …just can’t win.

They’ve been talking about that for a long time.No one really knows when a quake will hit. You’d have a better chance in a hurricane with warning. When they hit they hit in a certain area. I’m not too worried about it. Just prepared for the aftermath. No matter where you go there will be something. Fires, volcanos, tornados, floods, hurricanes. I’m more worried about foreign interests taking over, taxes, and traffic.

A few months ahead of you on this journey.  My Medicare starts today.  Have you tried Blue Cross?  I was able to get an Advantage plan thru them at no extra cost to me.    Included are basic prescription, dental and vision.  Your frustration with the system is felt and shared by many.  Wishing you all things good as you go forward.

One gold bullish factor is that sentiment for gold couldn’t be anymore washed out…remember the old Peter Paul and Mary song: “where have all the stackers gone, long time passing etc”

U.S. Mint American Eagle gold coin sales in the first half of 2017 were the lowest for this period in a decade, while sales of silver in the period were the weakest since 2008, government data showed on Friday. …

“U.S. investors seem to be interested in equities since every day seems like a bull market,” said Terry Hanlon, president of Dillon Gage Metals. “The news is positive for stocks and mostly negative for metals. Therefore, money is not going into the purchase of U.S. Mint American Eagle

Buygold re Dollar biggest loss in 7 years S/B Dollar Rotated Downward On Purpose To Help US Economy

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:40 on July 1, 2017

There are absolutely no natural market forces imo, until the distortion gets so extreme, only THEN do market forces take hold. The big dollar run-up in June 2014 was imo a man made MANUAL adjustment, putting the so called US recovery on hold, and simultaneously stimulate non US countries.

There is always a long time lag between action and reaction. So cutting off the USA in 2014, has started to take effect, so they are simply rotating the currency punch bowl BACK to the USA, and the other foreign countries got their “spin” and will be ok for a few years, baring another 2008 meltdown.

That’s messed up, your still in the USA. Try calling medicare ses if they have any lower cost health plans they know of Try calling Humans for drug coverage. It is cheap but have to use in network. I think Walmart’s are in network for everything and Theyre everywhere but companied can usually tell you who is in network Yeah stay healthy and if you get billed just make payments. Also you might be eligible for less costs or no costs on part B you can ask about.

Maya re: Medicare

Posted by newtogold @ 11:10 on July 1, 2017

Here in NJ , Aetna offers a Medicare HMO plan for zero dollars monthly. There is no specific prescription coverage but if you use an “in network” drug store, you receive quite substantial discounts.  Coverage is respectably IMHO and you can’t beat the price. Worth a look.

If ya get bored….Maguires’ call is discussed around the 15 min. mark

Morning Ipso

Posted by Buygold @ 10:32 on July 1, 2017

They certainly have. Last week was really one of the worst lockdown manipulation weeks I’ve ever seen. For some reason the fund guys are ignoring the move in the USD and increasing shorts on both gold and silver.

Can only hope we are nearing the end but I don’t know, the blatant efforts are just getting worse.

@ Maya:  I’m sorry that you are unable to obtain affordable medical coverage.  In your determination to remain healthy get educated about things that can keep you that way:  diet, herbs, essential oils…naturopathy in particular.  Much good luck to you.

@ Goldi:  This morning I read that FEMA has been training for a 9 or 10 level earthquake in CA.  Please consider moving out of the state.

Dollar posts biggest quarterly loss in 7 years (eventually it might matter to pm’s?)

Posted by Buygold @ 8:33 on July 1, 2017

By Sam Forgione | NEW YORK

NEW YORK The U.S. dollar recovered slightly on Friday, but posted its biggest quarterly decline against a basket of rival currencies in nearly seven years after hawkish signals from foreign central banks this week pressured the greenback further.

Investors have ramped-up expectations for tighter monetary policy from the European Central Bank, Bank of England and Bank of Canada after hints from officials this week.

This has made the greenback less attractive, in addition to skepticism that the Federal Reserve would be able to raise interest rates again this year given a recent batch of weak U.S. economic data and doubts that U.S. President Donald Trump could enact his pro-growth agenda.

The U.S. dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of six major currencies, declined about 4.6 .DXY percent for the second quarter to mark its steepest quarterly percentage drop since the third quarter of 2010.

The euro accelerated more than 7 percent against the greenback for its biggest quarterly percentage gain since the third quarter of 2010. The euro racked up about 2 percent of its gains and the dollar index posted about 1.6 percent of its losses this week alone. The dollar gained about 1 percent against the Japanese yen over the quarter.

“What really gave the hawkish central banks extra punch was how it seemed to be a coordinated effort to signal a shift away from low-rate policies,” said Joe Manimbo, senior market analyst at Western Union Business Solutions in Washington.

He said improving economic growth in Europe and Canada opened the door for those comments and was “a reality check how the U.S. isn’t standing head and shoulders above everyone else.”

The dollar index was last up 0.1 percent at 95.704, while the euro was down 0.2 percent against the dollar at $1.1416. The euro touched its strongest in nearly 14 months on Thursday, at $1.1445, while the dollar index touched a roughly nine-month low of 95.470 early Friday.

Analysts said Friday’s bounce for the dollar came as some traders likely took profits on gains in the euro as well as the sterling. The dollar fell against the Canadian dollar, however, and was last at C$1.2971 after touching a nearly 10-month low of C$1.2948 earlier.

“It appears as though the euro and the pound could be testing some resistance levels, and that could also contribute to … the profit-taking,” said Eric Viloria, currency strategist at Wells Fargo Securities in New York.

My first surprise was that I would still have to pay premiums on my Medicare part B (Medical).  That is slightly less than the Obummercare premiums I now pay… even with my ‘low income’ tax credit.

I was all over the United Healthcare website following the AARP endorsement, and a friend in Honolulu also recommended them.  She has a United ‘Medicare advantage’ plan (Part C) that covers everything including drugs.

So in researching the United Healthcare website, I find that for my zipcode out here in the boondocks of a distant county, United Health DOES NOT OFFER a ‘Medicare Advantage’ plan that it DOES offer in Honolulu, some 250 miles and four islands distant.   What I have available are eight variations of Supplemental patchwork insurance to pay excess Part B and various other things like skilled nursing facility stays.

And the Drug plan (Part D) is a separate offering and premium payment.

What really pissed me off is the inequality of the offerings based on geographic grounds (or waters, in our case!)

In order to get full part B “medigap” coverage of everything (the last 20% of part B)… they want a premium that is as large as I am paying for the base part B to Medicare.   And that STILL does not cover prescriptions.

Part D prescription offering that would work for me (not a heavy drug user) will cost a third again as much as the above premium.

So If I roll up the whole mess… I wind up paying TWICE as much as I now pay for Obummercare.  And living on social security alone, that’s wayyyy too expensive.

For that reason I may just go with Part D prescription coverage only, plus paying my Medicare premiums on Part B…. and telling the rest of the insurance scammers  “F/U”.  I think risking the payment of the 20% not covered by Part B is the cheapest alternative.  I’m healthy and proactive about my health.  I guess the best revenge is to live well and stay healthy.   And if I see health problems developing in the future, every year during open enrollment I can get supplemental insurance if I think I will need it.

So it’s not that I didn’t research it all.  It’s the fact that the Effing insurance companies don’t offer S#!T to us po’ folk out in the boondocks…. unless we pay a lot MORE money.

kiss Sharia goodbye ! and dont let the door knob hit you in the Ass on the way out !

This why President Trump appointed Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court

Neil Gorsuch hasn’t even been a Supreme Court Justice for a full month now and already he is setting fires everywhere.

Today the young justice reignited the fire of liberty and broke 40 years of precedent when he REFUSED to join the SCOTUS “cert pool.”

So how big is this “cert pool”? Well, according to the Daily Caller, The cert pool was established in 1973 during the early days of the Burger Court, in order to efficiently review the near 8,000 petitions received each term. In practice, the petitions are apportioned among the Court’s law clerks, who then circulate a memo to the justices recommending a grant or denial.

The obvious problem here is that this gives the power in these 8000 cases to the law clerks instead of the Justices. It also, in theory, allows 3rd parties to unfairly influence a case through the clerks. That is NOT how the Supreme Court was designed to operate

So, to sum it up for you, Neil Gorsuch just managed to set his foot down in the Supreme Court and say it is NOT okay to pass off judgments to the discretion of legal clerks.

This right here is the kind of story everyone should be sharing. It shows how important our Constitution is and proves Trump does make great decisions. Will you help him get this to your family and friends?

Today the United States Supreme Court issued a direct and final blow to the Islamic Indoctrination of the young in this nation.

The full panel of the United States Supreme Court which consists of 9 judges met to decide the fate of Islamic indoctrination in our American public schools by the far left wing nuts who infiltrated our education system after the second world war. In a typical 4 to 5 decision common sense won out and we have sanity restored to our schools once again.

In what is sure to make Liberals boil with rage. The United States Supreme Court was able to hand out this decision banning Sharia Law and Islam from being taught in classrooms only because of the tie-breaking vote. Which was none other than just appointed President Trump Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. Gorsuch went on to write about the decision:

“The government certainly has no business being involved in religion, but this isn’t a government issue or a religious issue. This is about the judicial branch interpreting the laws as they apply to the teaching of religion. We shouldn’t be teaching any religions in this country besides standard Judeo-Christianity, as our founders wanted, and we certainly shouldn’t be filling the children with lies about Islam being
a ‘religion of peace’ when they see the carnage on the news almost every day.” “It is our duty as Americans first and judges second to safeguard the way our children are indoctrinated.”

Amen Justice Gorsuch, Amen!

Liberals are all about teaching Islam and Sharia Law but they have issues with “Under God” in the pledge of allegiance and “In God We Trust” on our currency. They despise our customs, values, morals and everything we stand for. They want to desperately replace them with those of a religion and culture which is pure hell. One which treats women like cattle, although they chastise us for taking women’s rights away which were never taken and kill gays for just being gay. While at the same time taking us to task because we don’t want degenerates which have clear mental disorders being able to choose which public restroom they use.

This should have been a unanimous decision, not 5 to 4. But let’s face it,
the 4 liberal judges on the Supreme Court don’t care about the constitution, nor our values. But let’s look at this as the true start to resorting America to its founding glory.

God Bless our new Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.
