I do know what you mean since I have been in the past 40 years from time to time a futures trader…and successful at it. keep a close watch and stops was the name of the game. sometimes I even had a long term trade of a couple of …..weeks just kidding I would do positioning maybe 3 or 4 times a year in a group trade or a swing of a few weeks etc. but that’s using leverage up to 20:1…now I use the etf 300% like uslv or nugt etc. only. I’ve retired my futures trading back when since I’m not willing to keep such close tract on any positions anymore. lazy yep! 🙂

As to corrections and THE BOTTOM for $gold, I would surely agree that in the longer run it will not matter much. Though for active trading, swing trading, I simply believe that for that small portion of ones portfolio…now is a time for caution.

Have we all gotten to the point that we are so happy with the Gold/Miner rebound that we can’t see a major correction now? Nothing but Blue Sky’s in the near future. How about a 10% correction in Gold and a 20% correction in the miners now! Never marry a trend and never marry a stock.
